That Lenovo is expensive for $1,200 and only sporting a 960m. If it was a 970m then that'd be fine but a 960m? That's way overpriced.

There is no point is going exclusive with the Pro when the system has the same amount of Ram and Cpu as the original system. There is nothing devs could do there that couldn't be done on the current system.

It looks pretty soft and flat for a current gen game.

Their build is already a $100 over-budget while still missing fans, OS and the CPU they are using is even weaker than the OG PS4's. You won't even be able to properly play last gen games on that thing. lol

If you gonna cheap out like this just buy a console instead.

Come on people, those gifs are of really bad quality even compared to 720p... And because of the HDR what most people will see is crushed blacks on their non-HDR screens anyway.

Both of those games, ESO and TLOU, were meant to be played on ancient hardware, so please get some perspective.

Something people keep forgetting about because of their outrage about Uhd Bluray is that the original PS4 still play games at higher resolution and better performance than the Xbone S. And not to mention that currently the PS4 still has more high rated games too! Which is the reason people buy consoles, to play games you know.

You can download 4k movies but they are like 40GB compressed and when fully uncompressed just one movie it's like 160GB. But at the end, if you want to watch a 4k movie in all its glory and not Netflix compressed garbage then the only way is uhd bluray.

If I had $2k to blow on a TV I rather make a beast PC and still have money left to buy some games and a $300 4k monitor. ;)

Persona games are usually around 30 hours long, the 80+ hours it's probably from doing all side bosses, quests and capturing and fusing every persona. Persona games, especially Persona 4, while playing one gets sidetracked easily just trying to make every character stronger and stuff.

it's possible if you skip on using detailed shadows and AA. I'm not sure why but high quality shadows always seem to take a huge toll on gpu's and hairworks too.

lol at the guy that submitted this interview, he modified the title to make it click-bait. Contributors shouldn't be allowed to do that.

Please stop spreading misinformation I know you're hurt that Sony is under-delivering with the Pro but that is no reason to go around lying.

What is going on with Sony? It's like they are on a mission to ruin PlayStation again.

Wasn't this for the players? Someone contact Shuhei Yoshida ASAP!

It was expected since it's the same CPU and a slight overclock won't do anything.

Now if only HDR tv's weren't so damn expensive....

3203d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

The game has 3 settings and one of them focuses on frame-rate but it's unlocked and constantly jumps between 40-60fps.

3204d ago 3 agree1 disagreeView comment

The PS4 Pro has a RX 480 based the Polaris architecture and while not enough to render modern games at 4k it's a very capable medium-end $200 card.

On the other hand, the 1080p/60fps is just a dream because Jaguar cores are not enough for 60fps. Sony upgraded the GPU alright but the CPU only received a slight overclock.

That is not true. HDR (expanded color gamut) on GPU's started with Pascal.
