I pre-ordered one and I have a 720p Tv. haha
But the reason I have a 720p Tv it's because I bought it based on latency and this one was on par with e-sport monitors, 19ms for only $180 and 32". Fast and cheap. Low latency 1080p or 4k panels were expensive as hell last year and while you could find one now for like $300-400 and 20ms I'm just gonna keep rolling with what I have.
With SFV they made Ryu and Ken very distinctive after decades of both of them looking and playing almost the same. Now I wonder how they'll do it with Akuma too but I know it's gonna be great.
this is what happens when you do something just for money. You end up hating your job, your costumers and even yourself.
30 or 60 fps on consoles is a choice. Devs could make every game 60fps if they wanted but they choose to use the resources to make the game look prettier. So it doesn't matter the gen, if you want 60fps or higher across all games the only choice will always be PC. There is no way around it. I mean, there were more 60fps games on PS2 than on PS3 and PS4 combined.
But now they have the ability to offer options. Although I doubt the Pro would be able to deliver 1080p/60fps on most games anyway. Rise of Tomb Raider is not even 60fps, it hover mostly at around 40fps and Ni-oh can deliver solid 60fps because it looks like a PS3 game.
"run at 4K using 1800p Checkerboard Rendering"
Then it's not "running" at 4k.
The improvements are so massive that I don't even notice them. I see some crushed blacks tho.
Tapani, is even faster than 24ms it's 20ms which is some of the lowest input lag on the market right now even compared to monitor's aimed at e-sports.

I was gonna buy one by the end of this month but it seems I won't be able to get one till next year. And I have to buy it from Amazon since I have a Prime account for free shipping and no tax because where I live taxes are crazy high. If I buy local I'd have to pay like $500+ for a Pro while on Amazon it'd be $399 flat. ;/
Ni-oh looks like a PS3 game tho. In fact, there are PS3 games that look better.

When is the co-op arena, if ever? They said that was gonna be out by this fall but it's like they either forgot about it or is just not happening anymore.
they wanted to console to be as cost effective as possible I assume.
HDR means whiter whites and darker blacks. So the darker blacks will look crushed on your screen because it doesn't has the gamut to display it correctly, so there'll be multiple shades of black that will look the same. The opposite happens too, where the white is too white and you actually lose detail in bright scenes.
Only new 4k displays have HDR BTW, so at least 90% of the people in this comment section doesn't even have one in order to be able to appreciate...
It really isn't. It sucks as a game and everything else is pretentious as hell.
They should of made another MotorStorm and try to evolve it into something similar to Forza Horizon or something else instead of making the pointless and boring crap that Driveclub was.
Why these people that write about games always think that their opinions are so important that they can speak for everyone? They should speak only for themselves.
This is the most idiotic comparison ever. It's like trying to show 4k on 1080p.
It's too late now. The hype is gone and casuals buy on hype alone and sadly, the grand majority of the sales of every game come from them.
So expensive yet it offers so little in the hardware department. And all because half the budget had to go to the useless screen.
Uncharted 4 has worse frame-rate on the Pro than on the original console. Now that is a joke.
