How big is MGS4's install altogether?
At each chapter it wipes the previous one and installs again, so we never have the entire install at one time, although I REALLY would have liked that option rather than install every frickin chapter on every playthrough.
I'm guessing it was probably about 12 GB altogether, base on the amount of time each one took(some of them were relatively short)
Oh, the water temple...shudders. Sometimes I have dreams about changing into those darn boots while Zelda's Lullaby plays in the background. Awesome game otherwise.
I disagree with Uncharted 2 train level though. The only real problem there, on crushing difficulty,is the damn boss.
I eventually got some good shots in, knocked off his helmet, spammed nades, then cqc'd him to death. Took a fair few tries though.

This is not a representative sample of ps3 owners and there is obvious bias. Therefore, these statistics are meaningless.
Also 33% isn't exactly a majority.

Yes, because there is some "behind the scenes" stuff in the update as well.
An mp4 exploit was patched and playback with some PS one software (probably FF9) was improved.
This update isn't optional, but you don't HAVE to get it. You just won't be able to sign into PSN unless you use this "hack"/proxy method. Also, you probably won't be able to play any future ps3 software that requires the latest FW.

Doing this "hack" essentially prevents you from playing future ps3 games.

The hardware seems pretty accurate to me. Some people actually play better with the move.

So the current theory is that the internal clock thinks it's 29/2/2010 which doesn't exist, so it reseted itself? Now the internal clock and PSN server clock don't match.
Therfore, if PSN needs to check anything (trophies, copyright etc.), it doesn't work.
