I actually loved Kameo. PDZ was good in parts. But I'll keep away from their Kinect stuff.
Kinect Sports: Season 3?!?
Must be. lol
"The PlayStation 4's architecture looks very familiar, at first blush -- and it is. But Cerny maintains that his team's work on it extends it far beyond its basic capabilities."
I think this is sufficient proof that they at least believe its better. Now who knows if that's actually true. It's the kind of thing where you need to just decide for yourself if you agree. Hopefully, developers will be able to tap into it if true.
Now hopefully they put this on the PSN so XSEED has more reason to release this on PS3 and PSN.
Well, it is a simple-minded frat house joke, but I don't think Sessler was right in thinking that that one joke can or should reduce the entire experience down to the same level rather than what it originally aspired to be.
I don't know about you guys, but I don't feel this generation is finished until Atlus says it is. Persona 4: The Golden is like a breath of fresh air. This is my second time running through the game, and man it's glorious. I can't recall ever playing a better game. I'm on cloud nine every time I start it up. Needless to say, I'll be waiting for the inevitable Persona 5/6 and various other SMT or new IPs coming from Katsura Hashino and the rest of Index Corporation.
If this were $10 through the PSN, I'd buy it in a heart beat despite already owning a copy. That way I'll likely be able to play it on the PS4 when its announced there's no backwards compatibility.
Well, games with straight characters sell to gay people too you know. I don't think sex between male and females are gross. I'm just not attracted to females. This industry would be hurting a heck of a lot more if it weren't for gay people like me who are perfectly fine with heterosexual couples in gaming. Don't you guys think you could put up with it at least one mainstream game with a gay main character. We do it every day.
Slightly off-topic, the gay planet...

uh... 3D TVs are actually doing pretty well. Most cost between $800 to $1500. I wouldn't call that expensive, and they're not dinky TV's either. Those ones I was referring to were anywhere from 40" to 55". That's pretty big. Most people won't even buy above those sizes anyways.
Besides, most retailers are switching their stocks out. They're getting rid of the regular LCD displays for Smart 3D LED or Plasma TVs....
Well, I wouldn't say 60" (you do know 2160P contains 4x the amount of pixels as 1080P, right?). 50" would be pretty good though. I'm pretty sure you'd be able to tell the difference at 40" though, but 50" would be ideal, especially with the new OLED tech Sony and Panasonic are working together on (56" is the largest 2160P OLED TV they've managed yet).
Regardless, 2160P would most definitely be for videophiles like me. No games would su...
Psychological pain tolerance? Because I doubt it helps with physical pain. Bookmarked for future.
I know, I did say AND. Both have not happened yet. I meant more in the manner that it will become mainstream and a lot of games will start supporting it, even hardcore ones. I'd love to see a controller one day that can raise the surface of the touch screen to form a bump that can mimic a button on a controller. Then everything can be completely abstract. That would be ideal.
I read the article before I posted. So not exactly everyone.
Thank you, Valve. This is exactly what gaming needs right now. It'd be nice to have some fixed, yet upgradable, hardware so I wouldn't always have to use my computer, but this is a great first start. Looking forward to see what you guys do with it.
The lotus flower virtual keyboard is truly innovative. We can finally get past the stupid qwerty keyboards. Its only a matter of time though before gaming architecture is embedded in TVs and people use their tablets/cellpho...
So long as file sizes do not exponentially increase. No one's going to want to keep several hard drives on hand just to store their games digitally. I mean Uncharted 2 is already 23 GB's. I'd hate to see the size of games in five years. If it's anywhere between 75 GB's-100 GB's, then unless hard drives (internal) reach the 5 TB mark I won't consider it.
Exactly, I wouldn't even have counted them originally in the first place. They buy carnival games and wii sports and eventually grow tired of 'em. Of course there's a drop. I think next year will turn this around with games like The Last of Us and Bioshock Infinite, but we'll see.
Demand is low? Maybe relatively speaking to the oil companies, but to everyone else it still is a ####-ton of demand. The only time that will change is when Hybrids/fully electric cars become affordable/available/better.
Well, I can tell you why I haven't been playing as much as I used to. Because this year in gaming sucks... in a major MAJOR way.
Well, to be fair. It could be true. The BDA have been trying to keep Blu-Ray alive for when the 4K or Quad HD era hits. They're hoping that by developing higher capacity discs they can stay relevant and have optional support of 2160p.
This ISN'T 4320p (the other half of Ultra High-Definition). This is the lower half: 2160p. It could be possible, but only for movies. I doubt any games will even attempt to run at that standard.
@redwin
Still waiting on Eight Days.
