They nailed the gameplay, just need more content..
Bruce..
Kind of.. But progress always hurts a few.. That tiny percentage (and I mean tiny) take the loss so many can gain a great option..
And they still get exactly what they bought.. A x1 to play those games.. Now having a better option doesn't make it a negative
They may keep one big name like halo as a true exclusive but even that I doubt.. I'd expect them all to hit but maybe not day and date with the console release
Yea.. A i5 puts the CPUs in these consoles to shame.. Gpu is the big factor but it all scales
As nice as it is, you don't need to run the game at high or ultra. Just assuming but I'd bet the minimum specs are pretty reasonable
Ya what exclusive didn't sell exactly?
And remove ps4 and the Xbox is doing amazingly well.. It doesn't become a failure because Sony does better, its not a one product market.
I'm actually looking forward to it.. Don't game in my PC anymore but that may change..
No matter what.. The timing would always piss some off.. Fine they do it next year with forza 7, same thing.. Last year with horizon 2, same thing..
@gamename
youve missed my point i think.. Im well aware those features by themselves exist, but not the same.
the ability to be a PC gamer but join a xbox party, or play with your friends on xbox isnt possible on a steambox..id also add buying and playing xbox exclusive games on pc.. but who knows where thats headed with this article and all
and lets not get into how you are trying to spin this into a negative.. dont you worry about MS or the...
this..
I may be older with less time for gaming.. But thats the main reason i lost my competitive spirit online..
interesting..
I used to be serious about counter-strike back in the day (beta to shortly after steam arrived) and we'd have weekly practices on top of the matches in 2 leagues.. its very time consuming
now i work 60h a week and im 33.. Not only do i not have the time for it, i wouldnt do it again if i did.. for more reasons then time and age.. it tends to be a "these kids today.." type of reason lol
I still enjoy my FPS. always ...
but if you can add in features like crossplay, party chat, achievements, free games etc.. i dunno, it might work..
it simply cant be pay to play online.. any idiot knows that wont fly
its never been confirmed to be a widespread issue that im aware of.. it cant be as none of my friends or myself experience it
people are reporting a 1 to 3 second stutter, id notice that.. and it apparently only happens on some content
i do hear about the issue but its only a few people (comparatively).. same goes with an issue my roommate has, his kinect just stopped working.. turns on for a bit then off again..
others have this issue as wel...
unless they have the foresight to know people arent fully on board with the windows store approach..
they would give up a small piece to valve.. but thats better then a lost sale id assume
id love to see a steam app.. but i dont see how a subdomain on steam fits into that
@rainslacker
i totally get that scenario.. more of a cautionary tale of trying to plan that far ahead i suppose..
Moving xbox exclusive games to PC had to happen sometime, i always figured some would always fall just outside the bubble and kind of get screwed a bit with the timing.. if it wasnt QB, it would have been the next exclusive that people bought a x1 for.
if i were to bet, MS is going to start selling their games on steam
I have no issues with video playback.. Its actually what my x1 does 80% of the time
Weird
yup.. same old listen server setup on the same ol "heavily modified engine" but the birds will fly up to you this year
"Multiplatform games like Destiny and COD are selling much better on XBox than exclusives "
dont be biased.. they are selling better then sony exclusives too
but the x1 is just a product with no feelings or desires.. MS is who needs good moves
as a x1 owner it means nothing to me And i sure as hell didnt buy my console thinking about all the games i could play that others couldnt.
If you own a capable win10 machine, then why the need to buy another piece of low-profit hardware? they already have you on board.
not really... I got sick of PC gaming for various reasons
so while i have a new beefy PC sitting here, i still choose to play on my xbox for convenience mostly and my PC gets stuck on work duty or protools.
it literally makes no difference to the end user if another version exists.. buy the one you want and thats it, options are never a bad thing
Lol.. Kinda funny that I've been with steam since day one (12+ years now) and only because they forced me to use it or no counterstrike source for me.. Lol
Have literally never bought a thing off it.. But I'm not much of a PC gamer anymore (and I know steam today isn't the steam of a decade ago)
