Quick question here.. and 100% serious
Why is a ps4 exclusive being tagged with Xbox one on here?
I'd imagine it's limited right now simply due to cost.. do a sample run and see how it goes, no sense manufacturing 50 colors until you know the demand is there etc
I was playing around with it earlier.. believe it's on the page after the design steps
You heard it here first.. cloud needs Xbox power to work.. ya know, kind of the exact opposite of how it works.. lol
What does the cloud have to do with power of the Xbox? The entire purpose of it is so the box doesn't need to do the work..
You don't seem to have a clue.
Probably not.
Seemed to be announced really early to help sell xb1.. complex games take time.
Let's be real.. sales are only important to those winning in it. Always the way it's been..
Hypothetical here.. tables turn and ms starts blowing Sony out of the water.. best believe ms is shouting it from rooftops and Sony will find some other metric to promote themselves instead of sales.
Part of the reason I splurged on one.. if or when I get back into pc gaming (GPU prices are making that likely) I can keep this bad boy..
One would assume.. ms has said they will and Sony uses Bluetooth so I don't see why not
That would be cool.. I see the wraps on eBay etc but always wondered how they'd actually look.. custom faceplates would sell easily I would think, wonder why they havent
Yes.. now you are starting to get it.. lol
That's exactly what you do.. you find something to promote your product. Not being in first doesn't mean you stop trying.
And for the topic at hand.. how was it compared to anything and why does it have to be? It's an achievement that has nothing to do with anyone else.. I'd be proud of 1m too, who would have guessed it would do that well?
Funny how all those things are true.. he seems to have a beef with basic marketing ie make yourself look as good as possible without lying.
Completely agree..
Name a single company that doesn't brag about being in first.
While your at it, name one that brags about not winning.. lol
I even find myself removing the paddles entirely on some games if I don't need them.. the feel of the controller alone was worth it to me.
Edit for below.. you map them to whatever button you wish.. can use it for gear shifts, look behind etc.. you can even map the accelerator and brakes! (Tho I wouldn't advise it lol)
Then you can set up dead zones and accel curves for the sticks, and set your own trigger range of motion (blowing on it counts as...
Exclusive isn't limited to a single person/place or thing. If it isn't available to everyone, then it's exclusive to at least some
Like I said earlier.. everyone has their own definition of what exclusive means regardless of what it actually means
And no, I never said you made that claim about nms.. you have your reasoning and stick to it so I respect that.. but I have seen it mentioned numerous times by others
@badz
If I wasn't on my phone, I'd show you how wrong you are about that.. lol..
it's Xbox and pc.. but not ps4.. it has to be classified as some form of exclusive just as nms is to Xbox owners
Exclusive can mean many things and its actual benefit can vary .. and how do "actual exclusives" help you? Would not releasing it on pc suddenly make it a better Xbox game?
Nope.. exact same game. You worry about a titles exclusiv...
I've never understood that debate.. does a platform holder NEED to own a studio and if so, does it really benefit us as gamers?
Take ori or inside.. both really cool indie games that provided really great titles for Xbox.. would owning the studio's make any difference?
To me, that 6 month window is all that really matters in regards to big sales or its value as an exclusive.. after that, it's in the devs and gamers best interest for that game ...
Are you playing it? No?
Then it's exclusive.. lol.. no man's sky being on Windows doesn't stop people from claiming it's exclusivity..
All in good fun.. but the criteria for anything changes so often around here depending which side you happen to be on.. it's almost pointless to even worry about it
Ugh.. editing out as I just realized what you are referring to..
Carry on.. lol
I could see them doing it if they needed to.. azure is already there and paid for by corporate users.. but what would make them throw away all that revenue? I don't know
