That could be the agreement.. it's like 20 companies that have a stake in Blu-ray I believe.. perhaps a few want to make more then 299 for the first few months
Just talking out my ass tho.. lol.. could be way off but it does seem odd to not release that one first
Not really.. scaling isn't black and white but I may be using the wrong terminology.. cheaper sets simply duplicate pixels to fill the gaps.. better scalers use logic and processing power to adapt..
Perhaps times have changed with 4k sets.. but even last gen the 360 did a better job then any TV I owned at upscaling content
Can't help but wonder if they aren't allowed to have the cheapest 4k player.. a licensing thing
Well yeah the industry loves risk and new Ip.. being devs and gamers
Publishers, who actually pay for it all, don't.. they want safe investments
Not true whatsoever.. you must fulfill every preorder at launch so they are very mindful about how many are sold.
Yup.. and that's why they spend big money on Amazon and Google cloud services (presumably for ps4 and pc) and still using azure for Xbox
Vince mentioned them in a e3 interview
Your TV basically stretches the image to 4k.. hardware upscaled is always way better. They also get better at it as time goes on
Well.. without looking into it whatsoever..
They don't sell unlimited amounts of preorders. They have "stock" as it were..
I actually did just read the whole thing.. my comments are based on the literal interpretation of an old law made for cars..
I know there needs to be a better way.. this just isn't it and the reason the FTC doesn't enforce it..
Edit for below
This isn't about the warranty act itself that I'm aware of (not American) but a amendment to it from 1975 primarily for automobiles
Same.. a month is reasonable..
That destiny deal sucks for Xbox gamers so it goes for every deal like it.. how they do that and also sell a season pass for the same price is damn near criminal tho
A warranty is an agreement tho, it's give and take.. don't screw with it and we'll handle repairs for a year.. or you can screw with it and be on your own..
It's up to the consumer which route they'd prefer to take.. but you don't get to have your cake and eat it too...
Well.. for me anyways, up in the air..
No need to buy a slim as my x1 is fine.. use a 1080 gaming monitor so 4k doesn't interest me..
Scorpio would be a no brainier for me.. but I may just jump back into pc gaming.. console still has its benefits like less cheating, often better optimized etc..
But gpu prices are getting enticing ..already have a nice rig for other uses (3ghz i5, 16gb ram, ssd etc) so $500 now will have me beating n...
What about the vast majority of people that don't?
It's not reasonable for these companies to have to either waste time and money investigating if you caused the damage or not, or simply eat the cost and repair your screw ups anyways.. the second you take repairs into your own hands, you've done just that..
You can't allow any diy wannabe to mess around freely then expect the manufacturer to fix it.. the law never worked that way to begin ...
(Of course, manufacturers aren’t required to fix things that you break—they just can’t stop you from fixing it yourself or having someone else fix it.)
And that's just it.. it's not about forcing you to use their repair services, it's about not fixing your mistakes.. cars and electronics aren't the same thing..
If it's under warranty, why are you trying to fix it yourself? If it's out of warranty, then it's nothing but a stick...
Ooooo... watch out, he has picked his case.. now he just needs all that other pointless stuff to go in it.. lol..
Surface pro is badass.. wish I could justify one for myself
It's about selling surfaces.. which are quite expensive..
A $400 console is cheaper then straight up offering $400 off the surface..
Don't think it has anything to do with the platform.. games of that nature don't sell crazy numbers anywhere (few exceptions tho)
Japanese games don't tend to sell gangbusters except for the few like ff that crossed over and have alot of Western support.
I guess games like Mario etc are all Japanese but they don't really have any cultural differences that you'd notice.. or maybe I've just grown up with them so I don't notice lol
Was kind of wondering about that.. the main character seems... dated? I guess would be the word I'd use..
Not really my kind of game but it looks cool..
Nah.. but you seem to forget not everyone is a little fangirl.
