@Firan
Don't forget about mods aswell :3
Regardless of exclusive content, my eyes are all on the pc version.
Royal Flush? lol I'll have some of what he's smoking.
People really needed to get off this COD review score thing. It's a different game and it's not always reviewed by the same person. It's just an opinion that should meant to help you in your game purchases.
But, it's not all that original.
Because IGN is made up of one conscious.... It's not like they have different people with differing opinions. :3
@just-joe
Now that's a response I can appreciate! I don't completely agree, but I respect your reasoning. I would elaborate, but I feel judging from my previous comments, it would be redundant. Much thanks!
Should be pretty obvious from my first comment. Nintendo isn't evolving fast enough in hardware, services, and mentality. If they don't change, I see it as inevitable. If people are only buying their consoles for first party, than there's something very wrong that needs to be addressed. I haven't seen a good counter to this question, yet I usually receive hostility from others.
Can you please answer the question?
I'm sure the share/stake holders disagree. Also Why? (In your opinion.)
@DavePSU
Games are a form of entertainment that depend on user interaction. Movies and music for example, will always play out the same. Games on the other hand are different per user. Now while, it is in Nintendo's right, it something that may very well hurt them in the long run. I would think twice before I hurt free promotion.
Nintendo is just hurting themselves. Less incentive to upload videos and promote the content. It maybe in their right, but like Colin from IGN stated,"it doesn't make sense."
I think a lot of this perceived hate(not saying that there isn't unwarranted) is confusion and frustration towards Nintendo's recent decisions/actions. To me Nintendo is still too traditional in their thinking in certain areas. Games bought from the online store need to be tied to accounts, a yearning to focus again on the hardcore yet implementing sub par hardware(lack of longevity), claiming 100% revenue of LPers, the lack of reaching out to third parties, calling it WiiU(confusing ...
On hold is usually a nice way of saying cancelled.

@JuleyJules
This is how I've always viewed gens pertaining to systems. A gen for me consist of systems hardware/graphics that are similar or not too far apart from each other. Given the specs and released footage of ps4 and the soon to be announced xbox, their leap is obvious. Anyone I think my first comment was pretty self exclamatory. Oh wells... :)
I can't even play the game for long because it starts to make me feel sick. It starting to piss me off that devs don't see how important fov is.
Wii-U sure feels current gen to me.
To me a gen represents a certain range of graphics/hardware across systems.
- Sega Genesis, super nintendo
- Saturn, Playstation, nintendo 64
- Dreamcast, Playstation 2, Xbox, Gamecube,
mid- wii(graphics capibility around the same, but better online functionality)
- Playstation 3, Xbox 360, WiiU
- Playstation 4, Xbox ???
Damn, I'd say it's legit.
Holding a difficulty mode hostage as preorder dlc has the be the lowest of the low. I sure as hell am not getting this game day 1. Which is a shame because I really was looking forward to it.
I would love if they went third party for convenience sake. I like their software, but I'm not fond of the hardware.
