The thing is that each entry of Halo and Gears sell almost 10 millions copies and Yoshida says that it is because they release like 10 exclusives per year on the PS3 and the support gets diluted while the Xbox only releases like 2 maybe 3 exclusives but heavily marketed.
But when you compared them individually PS3 exclusives like Heavy Rain and GT5 sell more than Forza and Alan Wake.
at this pace the game will cost Sony a fortune because you know, people don't work for free even if the final product never will get released.
no one is winner if the console is forced out of the market because of poor sales like the Dreamcast did.
you know that SEN stands for "Sony Entertainment Network" and "PSN" stands for "PlayStation Network" right?
SEN is not PSN. SEN is the unified network of all Sony's related online services. Now instead of creating an online account for the Sony official store and another one for the PlayStation, etc. now you only need to create just 1 that will work for everything!
Well, I definitely didn't like GOW for its gameplay but for its presentation, setting and story which is kind of ironic since it was Jaffe who created it.
The game's good when you take into consideration the way it was conceived but compared to other "real" visual novels Katawa Shoujo is nothing more than a joke. If you really have that much time to waste then play Clannad, now that's a visual novel worth your time.
it's funny that people are still expecting the cancelled Last remnant port for the PS3. XD
Fear Effect! I miss my psychological survival horror lesbian chinese action game.
I remember Eidos even teased a part 3 but don't know what happened with that.

Every time I look at the trailer I can't believe that they they cancelled such an awesome looking sequel. Square/Eidos should make it now! ;_;
I can easily pin-point all your references but what was the best action game of last gen? And please don't tell that it is Resident Evil 4....
they finally updated the flash player, now you can even watch Twitch TV! The 720p is laggy though but it runs fine at 480p or below.
MS should do like Sony and add an online pass to play online games where you need to pay an additional fee to enable it on used games.
I like this. Specially after reading the comment section because I see some people got exposed. I feel this is something that happens way too often in the gaming world and that's not a good thing. People come and rate games with 10/10's because of the hype and excitement and then a few days later they are like: I think I rated that game too high (or maybe too low) but now it's too late.
Sites like IGN and Gamespot are examples of this. That guy that rated R&C ...
the guy has only enjoyed FFX and he has an avatar of Cloud. I think he is trying to tell us something....
true. >_>
this is his complete quote:
"Now that high-quality graphics rule supreme, you can reproduce what you want to communicate visually, but at the same time, I don’t know how to put this, but there’s an element that’s slightly excessive about it all…"
"The player ends up being able to see things you’d have preferred not to show them.
You end up communicating too much to the player. This is why I now feel that we’re at a turning point." ...
@Kurylo3d for someone with so many bubbles you really are very irrational. >_0
the second one is the best, is almost like playing Grand Theft Auto but without graphic violence and sex.
tell that to Square-Enix please, maybe they could listen to you and stop ruining the FF franchise. If only they stopped their obsession with graphics and started to create a really good game instead of mediocre pretty games then they could come out of the hole they are themselves digging.
An by "excessive" what Sakaguchi is really saying is that HD graphics lets you reproduce exactly what you want but at the same time by giving too much detail you kinda ruin other elem...
I bet the game will be good, I mean, this is coming from the Yakuza Team right? Anyway, I'm gonna go check out if the demo is really on the jp ps store.
And about the AA, look at those results! MLAA uses less resources and it looks much better than 4xMSAA. ;)
The "but Nomura is making it" logic dries up when Kitase, one of the genius men who's been involved with FF from the start was heavily involved in the development of XIII.

Kitase was just the producer for XIII. He hasn't worked on a FF game since VIII.
