Kind of funny since I feel that GAAS games by far have the most value. I have thousands of hours in Destiny. Same with Diablo. Division I only have a few hundred but still far more than the typical games I buy.
They feel very different to me. I love them both.
I really enjoyed the campaign on hard mode. Solo it is quite challenging at times. With a friend it is maybe a bit easy but still enjoyable. A lot of the missions are a bit repetitive but you will be getting new gear and builds to make so it always feels fun since you are constantly experimenting with what you like best for skills etc.
Interesting. I find it extremely fun
Has Anthem's launch been buggy? I know the pre launch was buggy, but since the actual launch it has been surprisingly stable. For me anyhow. Zero network issues and no game breaking bugs.
Talking about skill builds and how you use them. For example, you could have a long range ice build, build to setup your teammates detonator combos. You could have a multi long range skill build based on staying far away from enemies and doing damage. You could do an all melee build based on explosion damage. You could have a build built just off of doing weapon damage. You could have a build just based on getting and using your ultimate. You could do a build just based on being lucky haha. A...
I did a mix of both in the campaign. And while I enjoyed the challenge more by myself on Hard mode. I enjoyed it more overall with a friend. Granted I never turned the game off of Private though unless I was forced to for Freeplay missions.
Ariana Grande is amazing. Not sure your point there.
Loving how diverse you can get with your builds.
Definitely Destiny 2 post Forsaken. Not really all of it, but just Gambit. It isn't that Gambit is a bad mode, it can be fun every once and a while but tying so many quests to it was a big mistake. Just not a type of content that is fun to grind.
Right with you. Really enjoying it. The gameplay is fantastic.
Not at all, helped them find and fix a lot of bugs for launch day.
I can't really speak on that, I am usually in a group of four. But freeplay in general might pick up next week when more of the player base has finished the campaign.
To be fair, Anthem already in a better state on the technical side than Monster Hunter was at launch or maybe even now haha. I love MH to death, but man the multiplayer was terrible designed.
We have heard this before haha. Exact same rumors were said about Halo 5.
Looks like they are adding a new event every month and more. Exciting times for people who actually play games.
Anthem has less content but much more diverse gameplay and builds than Destiny had at launch or even now. Destiny is all about the gunplay and they nailed it but Anthem is more about building unique builds. I love Destiny, so I won't put Anthem on par with it yet, but it has the framework to surpass it for sure.
You are quite lovely. Congrats to your parents. But the point of GAAS games is they build largely based on the community. Only way to get a community and find the direction they want your service to go is to get it out there and see what works. So far I think the foundation is great. Gameplay is rock solid, the world they have is great. The loot system is very nicely done, there are many builds I want to pursue and ideas to try. My personal feedback to them right now is to do more or the same...
Has any GAAS game ever not? I have over 1000 hours in Diablo, Destiny, WOW each. In a typical game that isn't GAAS I usually have around 50 to 100 hours.
Never bought a single thing in any of those games except for the DLC's. You can earn everything worth using in the games.
