Well you can stream ANY PS4 game on your PS Vita.
Unlike the Wii U where only SOME games have Off TV support.
But I'm not sure the GamePad will be anywhere near as big a novelty as the Wii Remote (just look at GameCube and N64 sales).
Let alone the average consumer realizing that Wii U is an entirely new system from the Wii, instead of something like DS and DSi.
Damage control? Excuses?
You say that as if it was such a bad thing. Not showing everything in one day was smart. They'll have more to unveil at E3 and I personally can't wait.
God of War is "GOW"
Gears of War is "Gears" for short.
Where have you been!
GOW = God Of War.
When you say Nintendo changed the way we play games... Are you talking about the Wii motion controls?
Move wasn't shoved down your throat in every game like the Wii. It was optional.
Cause the rumor about the 720 blocking used games has been around just as long, if not, a bit longer.
What if my system dies? Do I have to buy another copy of the game? Or is this somehow tied to your account?
That sucks.
Might I add, for free!
When people say "better on PC" I always wonder "which PC?" Because there is no standard on PCs. And because optimization is sub-par to that of consoles, PCs need higher specs to compensate.
@Bladefist
I never said PS4 will be more powerful than any PC. But it will be more powerful than several. And games will be better optimized. But I also don't care what specs you have.
If my system runs the games I want and plays/controls the way I ...
I know that some brag about specs their "rigs" don't even have!
I'm sorry about Diablo 3. I didn't ask for it. I'm sorry about your loss, including other former PC exclusives. But it seems like PC devs are just giving them to us because consoles are pretty profitable.
PC fanboys will talk about how ""BY THE TIME PS4 IS RELEASED IT WILL BE NO MATCH FOR PC"". But who gives a sh**. This goes back to the bragging of s...
Core gamers ditched Nintendo during the N64 and GC era because Nintendo was stuck and continues to be stuck in their own ideals, while systems like the PS1 pushed forward what we know today as modern gaming to the masses.
The Wii sold incredibly well because all of the marketing surrounding it was aimed at a casual audience. The NOVELTY of motion controls is what sold the Wii. Without motion controls, the Wii would have sold no more than the GameCube did, which was somewhere ...
Your whole argument is about personal preference. Having an overall favorite game is subjective.
It has nothing to do with nor does it make sense when making an objective, let alone reasonable, comparison.
Might as well compare the game to a movie, since they're both a form of disc-based media. So let's ignore things like genre, because ACCORDING TO YOU, Pong is a better game than MGS4 because someone out there in the world thinks so and it's their favorit...
But not hyped at all. Probably because they didn't really show anything aside from some artwork and a video documentar..zzz
PS4 on the other hand; super hyped!
P.S: Highly misleading title.
I'm itching for a new third-person Metroid game (w/o bad narrative). And it's rumored that Retro is working on a Metroid game, which means I won't get any third-person action for a long time.
Why do they keep comparing this game to MGS4? They're two different types of games.
""don't act like you've never seen console gamers clamouring for a console version of a PC game.""
I don't think we have to. Developers like Valve are giving them to us left and right.
I agree that a mouse is better for FPS. However it is not more realistic than auto-aim or aim assist. It does not take anywhere near as much effort in real life to aim a gun at a target as it does with manual aim in games.
Well the game as a whole isn't realistic. However, controllers don't have the same amount of buttons as a keyboard, so a weapon wheel would work.
Agreed with everything else.
They'll only need that many people if they continue to put out sequels on a yearly basis.
