There is no longer a question if the Pro is worth it. It definitely is.

It wasn't even worth $60 at launch. At $8 it's totally worth it if you have the Pro. That HDR is no lie.
MMO PvP is the worst PvP, especially open world PvP. The majority of people who seek this experience are nothing more than griefers and gankers. As much as I love ESO I simply can not stand PvP. It's usually an empty experience where at the end of the day, for all my exertions, what I achieved is ultimately pointless as soon as I log as the night crew will eventually log on and undo whatever gains my faction have made.
I'm happy where am I at with the PS4 Pro right now, Sony is really killing it. For me, in order for the Scorp to matter MS will need to bring 60 FPS to the table in games where Sony can not. For example, For Honor is 2K (up scaled) 30 FPS on the PRO. I expect the Scorp to run this at 2K 60 FPS, because if not...GTFO.
Great news. Games like this can easily be ruined by the face roll level of difficulty. When you're taking on a huge monster you should feel like you earned the kill.

IMHO the PS4 Pro should be the standard model. While it's not a 60 FPS dream console, it does kick the PS4's ass in terms of both value and performance.
My PS4 Pro is having an amazing year.
The problem with portal external is that they lack cooling and generally are not meant to be used for extended periods of a time. I could spend all day playing ESO for example. But considering the snail-like read speed of the PS4 hardware and volcano like conditions of the PS4 Pro's internal HDD, my concerns regarding performance are probably unwarranted.
This is grossly OP and need a huge nerf. Every boss in the game can be face rolled with this.
Is there an external drive that will boot up and shutdown with the PS4 Pro? Because if I have to manually turn on and off the damn thing then count me out.

Amazon sales are totally meh. The only thing they're good for if the 10% discount for Prime members on new releases which I buy from them exclusively. This is a discount that finally put console prices on par with PC prices for new releases. I hate paying the console tax just because I prefer to play certain games on the PS4.
I enjoyed a ton of games with just average reviews, if it's good, then it's good. It seems like the fanboys on N4G put a ton of stock in reviews as if it somehow define their platform choice.
