This facial animation failure is simply unacceptable for a studio like Bioware.
I dunno. Unless Scorpio absolutely stomp the PS4 Pro in multiplats, and I'm talking 60 fps to 30 fps advantage, I don't see how MS can come out ahead.
This is just classic Ubisoft. Most of their games are on the edge of glory but they and crash and burn because of idiotic cost-cutting decisions like peer to peer in For Honor or the inability to prevent hacks and exploits in The Division.
The dead eyes is clearly the worst problem. Animation glitches happen, I understand that. But dead soulless eyes in a dialog heavy game is simply unforgivable with a studio like Bioware. If you can't get the eyes right then you shouldn't be making video games.
Utterly bullshit. This is nothing more than one DMR saying the other DMR is bad.
The SWJs and their ugly females will ruin this game for me, I know it.
I usually play all open world games on max difficulty simply because they are by nature, extremely easy to face roll to the point of boredom. I started Horizon out at very difficulty and was extremely happy to find that the game is perfectly tuned for this difficulty. Hopefully, the devs will change their stance and provide their hardcore fanbase with the corresponding trophies.
"Steady 30 FPS"= Shitty 30 FPS. I can't wait for a day when the consoles leave 30 FPS gutter.
OMG this game is ruined by the "dead eye" effect. They better have a day 1 patch for this. I can't believe Bioware let this slip.
As a master race PC gamer with a 1080 GTX, I'm not easily impressed. But this PS4 Pro version of this game blew my mind. The graphics are fantastic and I love how the game strike the perfect balance of action and RPG in way that even The Witcher 3 failed to achieve. I'm just disappointed in the 30 FPS and how the game allow casuals to cheese achievements by switching the difficulty to easy with impunity.
It's about the power. But that power has to be tangible. Like 60 FPS in games where the PS4 Pro can only muster 30 FPS or extra features like 100 players count in games where the PS4 Pro can only support 60.
If it's something frivolous like 1800p 30 FPS to the PS4 Pro 1400p upscale then nobody will give a damn. Long story short, they're not going to beat Sony with their library. The Scorpio must win with raw power in 3rd party titles.
They have a long way to go to catch up with the PS4 Pro.
The rng and combat system of this game lend itself to a Destiny style multiplayer loot farm quite easily. I think GG should should consider the possibilities. I would love for GG to create it's own Dragon Dogma Online type game based on Horizon.
All I care about is the 60 FPS. Are we going to get it or not?
This should renamed to why PS4 Pro is having it's best year ever. All of 2017 most impressive games requires the Pro to get the best experience. The PS4 is simply left in the dust. So glad I made the switch.
The Nemesis system was simply brilliant and to this day, still unmatched. Considering how quickly gameplay concepts are copied from game to game I'm amazed that nobody managed to replicate this in their title.
I cant' wait to see what they'll do next.
Xbox sucks people. It's really hard to argue for this platform right now. PS4 also sucks, it's clearly inferior to the PS4 Pro master race. Everyone should upgrade so we can all enjoy superior frame rates and glorious high res graphics.
Are you serious? In order for her to do 360 degree rotation this must be a thing or else her body will be spinning like a turret, and her legs and body must be move in a natural manner or else she'll look like some sort of robot riding crab. In short this is not a "feature" anymore than reloading animations in any FPS can be considered as a feature.
I came back to ESO recently and was blown away by the changes. This, more than any MMO before it, really excel at thinking outside the box. The fact that levels doesn't matter anymore in overland questing and normal dungeons is mind blowing. Its also mind blowing that dungeon drops changes their levels when exchanged between group members lol.
I can't even get steady 60 FPS on the Pro in 1080p so yeah, optimization need work.
