Crystal Dynamics were the main developers. Eidos Montreal as well as a few other Square Enix owned studios helped make the game and develop the engine.
It's made by the team at Eidos Montreal that worked on the Avengers game. Same engine and everything. Only difference besides characters and settings is that it's a full fledged single player game. No online GaaS bullshit.
Still no news about a PC release? Wouldn't be surprised if it's a PS5 exclusive for a year like with the original.
Square has been making stupid deals as of late though. KH series exclusive to Epic Store, Outriders, Marvel's Avengers, Nier: Automata Windows Store version being better than Steam version that's been out for years. Neglecting their PC ports. If you're not going to put the effort into your PC ports then why release them on PC at all? Most of their money comes for console owners anyway.

Trainers are a godsend for games that have monotonous grinding and farming. I don't have as much time as I used to to play games and using trainers in like RPGs or looter type games really does help with that.
30% is industry standard. Sony, Microsoft, AND Nintendo take the 30% on all digital sales. Epic only takes the 10% cuz they have so much from licensing their engine, Fortnite, and Tencent money. They can afford to take a lower cut. Microsoft might be going for a lower cut or they probably have already. 10% should mean diddly squat to us consumers as it doesn't give us any advantages. Didn't Sweeney say that taking a lower cut to developers would allow savings to customers or something...
I'm assuming it's a six months to a year exclusive maybe? I understand 3 and 2.8 on Epic cuz they both were developed using Unreal but 1.5 and 2.5 HD being exclusive? Probably money cuz Square Enix.
I always thought it was a tech demo never intended to become an actual game. Pretty sure it's just them showing off what would eventually become their proprietary engine Reach For The Moon Engine or "RE Engine" as most people call it.

That's exactly it. I bought FF7 Remake Day 1 on PS4 because I'm a huge Final Fantasy fan and have been waiting like others for a remake. Now they announced and released a DLC and upgraded version and it's only available on PS5 alienating everyone who bought it on PS4 and can't afford or find a PS5 like myself. Are they running off of the system or is it streamed. If they're streamed then I kinda understand but it it's running off of the system then it's very disappointing.
