Sony literally paid for development of SFV. Yoshinori Ono said the game wouldn't have happened if Sony didn't offer to partially pay for the development of the game.
I wanna play it since I enjoyed the first Dead Island and Riptide. Just waiting for the inevitable STEAM release.
Seriously. I think Breath of the Wild is also overrated. I got bored of it quick. This game just seems like more of that with new mechanics.
Because it has sold more on PlayStation last gen and current gen and Microsoft doesn't want to lose those customers/money.
That's Microsoft's fault. They didn't want to make licensed games when Marvel approached them. That's one of the reasons why Spider-Man and Wolverine are exclusive. Blame Microsoft for that. If they wanted to, they could get exclusive Marvel games too but they don't want to.
@KikngKionic
You really believe that? Look how RedFall turned out. Was being developed for multiple platforms. Microsoft bought Zenimax. Game was in "active" development for a few years before the buyout. You really believe that Microsoft will make the game better? Especially with their whole hand's off approach to development. Friggin fanboys(that includes Sony and Nintendo fanboys) ALWAYS, for some reason, ignore history even when it's been recent.
There were multiple articles about how the Spider-Man deal came about. You can blame Microsoft for that one. In short, they turned down Marvel when approached about making licensed games. Head of Marvel Games can even confirm that since he was the one who revealed it. KotoR, that was all Disney. Wolverine pretty sure was also Marvel when Sony decided to have Insomniac develop it too. Given how overwhelmingly positive Spider-Man was, why not go with the same developers who made it for another ...
I made it to end game with friends. Did the end game gear grinding for a few days. Haven't touched the game in 4 days. Stark difference from when I was playing Diablo 3.
Eh. Guess I'll just go and replay the PSP version.
I still use an HDD./s But really, I use a 4tb solely for retro games.
Definitely just seems like Fallout in Space with mechanics taken from No Man Sky.
The writer of the article probably doesn't realize that maybe it's what the dev team wanted. Maybe they wanted a Bloodborne type game and decided to make one. Nothing wrong with that. While I'd love Sony and FromSoftware to develop Bloodborne 2 or even port it over to current gen/PC, it ain't gonna happen cuz for some reason, as the IP holders of Bloodborne, Sony's being stubborn about it. I'm glad other devs are doing what Sony refuses to do.
I remember when Super Street Fighter 2 came out. My brother went to like 5 different store trying to find the game as it was extremely popular game at the time. He finally found a copy and he paid $80 for it which was the standard pricing in the 90s.
Might be, might not be. There latest releases weren't Epic exclusive. Tactics Ogre Reborn, Harvestella, Forspoken, Crisis Core, Live A Live, etc. Maybe they learned that they can make more money by releasing their titles on multiple stores. Who knows. Also, KH is infinite Epic exclusive cuz Epic Games helped them with Unreal while developing 3 and the HD remasters. The producer of those games said it either in an interview or on Twitter. I don't remember exactly where he said it but i...
@NotoriousWhiz
That's a tired excuse also. Yeah, sure, games are more expensive to make nowadays, but these AAA developers make mad money year upon year. They can afford to spend the money on making these "expensive" games because the massive sales makes up the money invested. I'm speaking about AAA developers/publishers. They make millions off of the sales of the games alone. CoD, Madden, NBA2K, etc. make these companies millions ever year and yet they sh...
@Hyper and @shin
I grew up on Nintendo and PlayStation and own all of the PlayStation consoles and have played all of the exclusives I've been interested in. I even double dipped PS4 exclusives on PC like Days Gone, God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, and the Spider-Man games. I'm even waiting for more patches for Last of Us Part 1 so I can play that on PC. I own 2 PSPs, a Vita (and planning to buy another one), Xbox 360, 3 different DSes, a Switch, a gaming PC, and a portable ret...
Man I wanna play this so bad but I don't want to buy a PS5 since there's nothing on it I really want to play except this game. Will probably wait for the inevitable PC release. I still need to play FF15 too.
Yeah. Why spend $500 on the 4060ti when you can get the 6800XT for a bit more and have better performance?
Honestly, what is the big deal about the merger? It's not like either company will cease to operate if it doesn't go through. They'll just keep doing what they always do. And it's not like both companies need each other to keep functioning. Microsoft is Microsoft. They will keep going regardless and it's not like Activision needs Microsoft money with how much they make every fiscal year. Is the merger going to make both companies any better? Is it really just because Micro...
@Outside_ofthe_Box
Is it timed exclusive? I though it was released on PS5 first cuz that's where Final Fantasy sells and he wanted to give the PC version extra time for development and add graphical stuff you can't do with the PS5 version and optimization.
