We've been reviewing games for over 12 years, it's hardly a new thing, and we've always had one of the tougher scoring systems (on OpenCritic for example we have one of the lowest average scores). If you read the text of the review you'll see it matches a 5 under the scoring system we use.
EGS will do exactly the same if it ever manages to achieve market dominance.
lol, they're already talking about DLC. Pathetic.
This won't be its final year though.
This is said every gen...
Well that's a pleasant surprise.
Looks fine, no complaints about the graphics or art style here. It's the itemisation and post-end game content that I'm most nervous about; those are two of the key areas that they completely screwed up with Diablo III. I'm just hoping beyond hope that they learnt from their failings and draw on things that made Diablo II so amazing.
Loved the series, although I wish it had less rubber banding (a problem that seemed to become more telling with each new mainline release). Even MotorStorm RC was an excellent handheld racer.
Hopefully Sony revives the IP some day and gives it to a talented racing dev to work on.
:(
Apparently the puzzle sections in normal mode were very unforgiving. Though I'm not sure why they needed to add an additional difficulty level below easy, because the easy setting sounds fine.
WipEout Collection is amazing, but I already own it :(
Despite their protestations to the contrary this has always been their end goal imo.
That's more like it!
Sony's become complacent with its PSN Plus offerings.
Please don't, just make the main game as good as possible.
That'd be fine by me.
Damn, that's much too young.
The only advantage I can see is that fans would actually get to play (part of) the game without having to wait 10 years.
Owch.
He gave the Dark Souls Remaster 5, which isn't quite the same thing as saying he gave (the original) Dark Souls 5.
But yes he's a harsh reviewer; we're a tough outlet in general, we've always had a stringent scoring system and take on writers who have that same outlook.
