Full scale production on Witcher 4 only began recently, so it definitely won't be releasing this year.
Crtics will provide cover for them regardless of the game's problems, but as they found out with Outlaws that's not actually a guarantor of sales. Plus they'll have sales goals that are far too ambitious anyway. Combine the two and things don't look good for Ubi.
That won in our Action category.
Your account on Steam levels up naturally when purchasing games, completing various tasks like holiday challenges, and crafting badges by trading & purchasing cards for games with the feature enabled.
Increasing your level indirectly increases the drop rate of random packs of cards (although I believe this maxes out at a certain level), and gives very minor bonuses like increased space on your profile page and a longer friend list. So the benefits are quite limited.
It's an OK game. The main problem is it gets very repetitive with the mission types.
Oof.
Almost certain he's referring to Persona 4 & 5 there (since he discusses them elsewhere in the review).
A sequel is in the works - they announced it a couple of years ago.
He said almost 3 million, not over (yet).
Each to their own, but listing the 13 best Tomb Raider games and not having the first two titles anywhere on that list is shocking. My guess is the author is either young or didn't play the original trilogy at the time.
Cheap and quick way to fill in the release calendar in-between major new games - that's why pretty much all the major publishers have been doing it.
It was really popular in Japan and NA, but not so much in Europe, which acted as a drag on its final total.
It's sitting on 63% on Steam overall. The 29% is recent reviews only, many of which are clearly a direct response to the game winning a Steam award for innovation (which itself was likely as a result of some sort of meme campaign), because that's literally the only thing some of the reviews mention.
Somehow people have funded this to the tune of over $650 million since 2012.
That sucks, especially for the staff at N4G having to deal with the fallout. I've been in a similar position and it made me feel sick.
I thought maybe you were exaggerating, but damn, you weren't; other than Arkham VR (2016) they haven't released anything since 2015's Arkham Knight. They're screwed if this ends up being half as bad as people are fearing.
Bahahaha
They have more of my favourite games in the top 25 than I expected tbh.
@fr0sty - the DualSense controller works on PC, so just use that.
Not it isn't. It's a multiplayer spin-off, not a Bloodborne sequel. There's definitely demand for a proper Bloodborne sequel.
