ATI has always been bad with drivers.
And this is from beating my head against a wall for years because I just don't want to pay for Nvidia cards anymore.

I don't think enough of you appreciate how bad it is for creative types to have freedom, talented help and the money required to make cool games.

It is harder to find that freedom and cash in Japan and impossible to operate the way western developers can.

Here's hoping Inafune doesn't just faceplant his next effort after leaving Capcom.

still waiting for someone to rig up a self driving car with a few Kinect sensors and a laptop, or iphone app.

and besides they are actually making money selling the cameras.. last thing left for them is to make enough of them to cover the demand from hobbyists unless they plan to bring full support to the windows PC platform, in which case they'll really need to fix production.

Or design another version of PC/mobile use.

@morganx, then the idiots should have supported USB3.0 in the redesigned Xbox, which is powered and would have given them extra USB3.0 ports on the back of the device for 3.5 inch harddrives.

their saving grace is that the device isn't wireless... not that hackers would be stopped trying to hack networks with Kinects on them (or Messenger accounts with Kinect cameras on them).

well.. DVD firmware, or IC not being coated and glued/epoxied

however you look at it it IS in their better interest to leave their crap open.. they just haven't demonstrated any capability to lock their shit down.

if you notice, their selling it for more than kinect puts them in a better position to make money in the long run (assuming either company actually manages software for their controllers).

Why even comment on this when Microsoft doesn't even make games?

oddly enough Kinect would have been a great way to manage that... as in they need casual games to help them sell games. GFWL isn't going to beat Steam and other download services.

rpg fans who apparently enjoyed it.

Are you people making shots at PD and Criterion for making the most of aging consoles or are you going to play the games anyway?

say armed flying vehicles (more than one planet), and for 'multiplayer' to not stand for mediocre multi-faction arena combat, and I'll hold my peace and expect *it to fund a fitting conclusion to the current series in ME3.

they are quite happily married to UE and copying and pasting assets.

now what are LucasFilm and LucasArts allowed to work on? no more Gladius, Pod Racer, Starfighter, Xwing, Force Unleashed, Fracture, Thrillville.. Star Wars 3rd trilogy, Unleashed as a direct to DVD movie..

What are they just going to focus as a collective on the TV series that's not going to happen?

which is difficult to appreciate because understanding the native meaning will ensure you don't lose any of that meaning when some idiotbox in california tries to translate it using google (no dis to californians). Or a professional does it and you end up with several possible meanings that you have to take in all at once without any artistic subtlety.

bluray is old, think BDXL and the demise of playstation 3 so that Sony can deliver a new console generation to properly support it, 3D at high resolution (bigger frame buffer) and possible resolutions above 1080p or native dual screen support (like 1440p and 2160p since there are TVs being made for those resolutions).

yes it is, go have a cookie.

Also it is still not official information regardless of how consistent it has been since we first heard about it. That and we need to see game play to see what kind of quality mark they are aiming for and what kind of environment awaits.

depends on gameplay.

Lara camping, cooking for herself, surviving could be fun... if done correctly and she chatters to herself (with an optional off button or in context appropriate queues for the player to learn more about her story).

While having any guns at all would sound fishy, especially her trusty infinite ammo pistols. The bow sounds more interesting than having a gun. Tracking animals by foot prints in mud and sounds (using surround sound) fin...
