None of Zero Galaxy's HDremakes have been arcade perfect. Hell they haven't even been Sega Saturn/Dreamcast quality control-wise. The Darkstalkers collection was ripped apart by fans of that series as was their version of SFIII.
Man, If I had to review all the shovelware and crap this guy has had to for the DS, I'd have trouble trying to think of good games for the system too.
Did you not read the article? It's ranking the winners their of Platformer of the Year. They've only been around since 2003, and all those games you named were far older than that.
He has every system ever made and he knows he's not going to ever be able to play all his games so he's trying to pare it down to things he knows he loves rather than just take up a ton of space collecting dust.

I would love to see a game that expands on the battle system here. Sure, it wouldn't be deep, but hundreds of Pokemon with their own moveset in real time? Awesome.
AT this point in their career, they've actually done more Naruto games.
