So did the Master Chief Collection.
Well said, as usual.
Um, the first three years, they had more than power. Beyond the fact that Xbox is nowhere NEAR as big a brand as PlayStation, the PS4 was also cheaper. Like I said, Sony has a better read of the market.
Uh, no.
Sony's lead has far less to do with any power gap and more to do with having a better read of the market. The X1X hasn't done a thing to shift the needle. The brand continues to lose on a weekly and monthly basis by no less than 2:1. So power has largely been irrelevant.
Really, I shouldn't be surprised by the 'need' for a new system. Every generation this happens.
In a word: no. They're doing just fine with the PS4. I don't get where this sudden obsession with rushing out the next system has come from.
Well said.
I follow, but your point is irrelevant, since the PS4 is still selling and the Wii U had its grave site marked and filled prior to 2017.
Beyond that, my original post highlighted the Wii U's lack of 3rd Party input (largely why it suffered the fate that it did). This isn't something the PS4 suffers from (hence the many games that have cleared 5 million from a good amount of 3rd Party companies).
So, you aren't even fighting the 'good fight...
Nintendo's properties weren't enough to carry the Wii U and it saw little support from 3rd Party companies. PS4 doesn't have the latter problem and will see more than five properties sell 5 million+ when its life concludes, more than the Wii U had.
So what point are you trying to make, exactly?
G3ng4r:
PS4.............
Sony's: Horizon, The Last Of Us Remastered, Uncharted 4, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection
Multiplat: All of the CoDs but Ghosts, All of the Fifas, Battlefield 1, Battlefront, GTA V, Destiny, FFXV, and Minecraft
Total = 18 Games
Wii U............
Mario Kart 8, NSMB U, Smash Bros Brawl for Wii U, Super Mario 3D World
Total = 4 Games
Any oth...
Yeah, that was a silly statement. What else did the Wii U sell on besides Nintendo's properties? How did that turn out? :p
I see you're still at this nonsense. I already exposed you the last time you acted this way—one would think that you wouldn't try it again.
OT: The focus on In-House content will is yet another reason I stick by their consoles.
You have to ignore people like Frinker.
OT: The rumor is that it is bigger than Shadow of the Colossus, so ICO certainly isn't it. Regardless, another PlayStation Remake is a welcomed addition.
Exactly.
Most titles aren't "perfect" at launch, no matter the platform. However, Sony's properties are usually very good out of the gate.
Careful, such dangerous words make some people lose their minds. :P
But yes, as a home console, in addition to a portable device, it is helping the Switch along the way!
Beyond that, weren't they moanin' and complaining when these same franchises tried to move on to the present/future? Damned if they do, damned if they don't. It's ridiculous.
Hopefully, you don't actually believe this nonsense.
OT: As usual with these rumors, you people need to take it with a grain of salt. Of course the PS5 is in development, but these kinds of articles crop up every now and then and there's no reason to give this one any more credit.
Not really. They've had the Destiny: The Taken King Model, Batman: Arkham Knight Model, the MGSV model, the FFXV Model, the GT: Sport model, the Uncharted 4 model, the Dragon Quest Metal Slime model, the Call of Duty Model(s), the Battlefront model(s) the Monster Hunter model, and now the God of War model—and that doesn't include the 20th Anniversary PS4 nor systems with art etched on the HDD cover. They've only had a few plain colored machines.
You're talki...
I’m sorry, but that is funny as heck! 😆
