You played it longer than myself then..... i realised after 5 minutes that it wasnt my kind of game... maybe i should of given it more time, and had i paid full price for it then i would of... i downloaded off gamepass, so there for had no respect for the game.....
In all fairness, and this is just my theory... i think the 2 years thing isnt really saying 2 years, its a mild reference to suggest a passage of time, he was asked a question, and said could be 1 to 2 years before we see first party exclusives, then the two years thing kinda stuck in everyones head as two years...
A few comparisons would be good... all good Devs telling us about the games, how about they also give details of storage space needed...
Like Him (Phil Spencer) or not, if i was earning the money he was earning for talking the truth or talking crap then id stand there with a smile on my face too ...
Still a kick in the nuts for those who have recently upgraded....
Wonder if The discontinued one X is to make room for the rumoured series s ...
Totally agree... A part of my next Gen experience is bringing the games i like to play now with me... even without enhancements i`ll still look forward to playing them.... My son doesnt live with me, he lives with his mum but being invited to join his crew on Sea of Thieves and having fun means a lot to me ....
I think your both talking about different things....
I’m more interested in the difference between the SSD’s ... more to the point, What can the Sony machine do that the Microsoft machine can’t ... I get the loading time ... but what else ....
Certainly a nice lead up to the games reveal, but I’m not gonna get too excited just yet...
With all respect, that’s only a part of what Smart delivery means, besides the 3rd party support, which is offering free support for both consoles, which is optional to them, SD is also making sure all 1st party games are playable on older Xbox one console and also how certain older titles Will be enhanced/upgraded to series X ... If Sony are offering the same service then I will agree that SD is just Microsoft copying Sony
I agreed to this comment, as well as respecting your answer... its a legitimate answer to a part of the smart delivery vs cross buy debate..
My best guess is that it works exactly like it does now... if its a disc, then the disc has to be inserted into the console your playing on, and if its digital then its locked to your gamer tag.....
But Smart delivery isnt being spouted about by 3rd party devs... Microsoft is pushing that agenda .. and there advertising it as every 1st party game will be playable on the Xbox ecosystem ... just as Sony pushed the cross buy agenda years ago... so if smart delivery is the same as cross buy then all 1st party Sony games will be playable on the Sony ecosystem ... but there not
So if Cross buy and Smart delivery are the same thing then i guess ill be able to play Spiderman : Miles Morales on my Ps4... oh hang on, i cant, so the two cant be the same thing ?
Well.. thats just saved me £50...
Just look at Console article on n4g whilst sitting outside and you can experience a lot of that ... 😁
I think most of this system has been funded by crowdfunding anyway... Atari being clever not to loose too much of their own money
After a quick search ... but the original offender was Bethesda, with Oblivion .. the Pc and Xbox 360 being the two platforms guilty of starting this practise with some downloadable horse armour ... 👍
1m new players since back in June .. i think 1m new players is quite a few considering its only been on gamepass since some point in June... thats 1m new players in a matter of a few weeks on an old game, I am one of those 1m players... but having played for a very short time have no intention of playing it again
