Series x for my 4K tv, series s for my sons non 4K tv in his bedroom ... many don’t like the option of 2 Xbox consoles, but for me it’s perfect 👍

The reason I downvoted was not disagreeing with your statement , your statement is 100% correct, me personally I prefer to play games on performance mode on my one x as opposed to graphical fidelity , I’d rather have Forza horizon at 1440p and 60fps than 4K 30 , same with all the games that give me the option .
I’ll decide when I play the upgraded version of the series s games vs the upgraded Xbox one x versions ... but generally, if given the choice on the one x I always choose performance mode over graphical fidelity every time , so even tho I have a 4K console playing on my 4K tv, I rarely use the 4K option anyway.. I need to see the games side by side

There taking away the one x enhancements, but replacing them with Series s, x enhancements which will prob be better anyway.. sure not all games will benefit from this, but i dont think its the doom and gloom many are saying it is...
It could be a let down the 512gb of storage , or it might not be any different , I guess it depends if it has to download many 4K assets .. only being a 1080p console could reduce file sizes massively ... but I’m no expert so I could be wrong and 512 sucks
Everything I need to know is I’m not buying it... the video clips I’ve seen have all failed to convince me it’s a game I need to own ... it’s going to appeal to a lot of gamers, just not me ...
I get that everyone had their own preference and I’m not trying to attack or defend any companies stance , but personally, I’d feel a bit wounded if I was told I couldn’t use my 3 elite controllers with the new Xbox ... I guess it’s one of the reasons why I’m sticking with the series x this time for my first purchase , maybe the ps5 later on next year
Was only a few days ago that Microsoft and Facebook critised Apple`s policies... not sure the reason behind FB but i think Microsoft could be backing Epic on this one, ok, they could lose some percentage of revenue from their own ecosystem but if it means they can get their streaming services on Apple then the gains could outweigh the loses ?

As a positive to myself, I stand more of a chance of getting a day one console now that a lot of potential buyers have decided it’s not the console for them 👍
A lot of mixed opinions on the various threads... I didn’t get me any more excited than I was expecting , nor did it disappoint anymore than what I was expecting , I guess the thing that I liked most was, as a game pass subscriber, I can download all of these games as part of my subscription... the way I see it is, I’ve just been shown glimpse of some of the games that I will be able to play without the need for a separate purchase, would I of paid real money for these games ? Probably not ...
I agree, to be fair I couldn’t care less what RDNA either console is using , most of what I’ve read in this thread may as well of been written in Egyptian for what sense I made of it all .. I know which console will be day one purchase, I think it’s fair to say that the majority of folks here already know their choice of console , we will all get the games we want to play, regardless of the specs on paper .. a big thumbs up to us all ...

1m new players since back in June .. i think 1m new players is quite a few considering its only been on gamepass since some point in June... thats 1m new players in a matter of a few weeks on an old game, I am one of those 1m players... but having played for a very short time have no intention of playing it again
