Why aren't the components going down? Why are the components rising in cost?

Why are Nintendo prices going up, PSN prices going up and the inevitable GP price gonna go up?

It's greed. Next gen prices aren't gonna be much better. I won't be surprised if next gen games are at 80. Then Sony, MS and other devs will do the usually PR of the most powerful console ever or fastest SSD or whatever to "justify" the price hike.

They'll further push ppl to PC.

So you're just gonna ignore the link where it says they wanted to do sp but the higher ups wont let them? I literally just describes what was in the link.

"All Sony did was scrap/shelved what was only ideals, created another studio with another ip Bungie had been working on, and focused Bungie on what they could actually afford to do."

You just described the things I sent in the link then. Confirming facts I provided.

MS are doing both Handheld and Console.

You gotta remember Sony completely absorbed them a year or 2 ago. So they report to Sony. They wanted to make a Sp game but the powers at be wouldn't let the. Project Gummi bear is another LS game.

I really, really don't get it. The decisions that go on at these companies. It's said that Sony doesn't want Bungie to work on anything Sp but wants to them focus solely on LS. If Bungie really put their minds to it and If Sony would actually let them, we would have a new story driven narrative comparable to Halo with a separate LS portion. Maybe what I'm saying is to in much to ask. Narrative story with a MP or LS like they did back then (6th gen). Similar to GTA though they ...

If it's not successful then they might as well work for another Studio. Because Bungie won't be around or absorbed with other PS studios.

Looks like the moment to moment gameplay with addictive elements are Bungies wheel house. Have no doubt it'll be fun to play gameplay wise. The issue for me stems the the presentation. The neon bright colored pallet that's often associated with F2P LS fortnite or fps fast shooter types which does the game a disservice in terms of standing out from the rest. While, it in fact, it blends in the the rest of the LS look and cadence. If you showed this to a semi hardcore gamer they'll...

Well, well a mega corporation was only pretending to be about the fans.

Think about it, they've been doing these fanfests for years now because they needed to be in the good graces of its fans and fanboys.

They're releasing games in GP at a regular cadence now they dont need the fans anymore. In fact games are now multiplat which is more money for MS so they really dont need to invite fanboys to tell them how "great" they are. Dry spel...

@fox "Yeah buy literally buying two publishers where the Bethesda event rolls into their own as well as the deep dive Activision Call of Duty shows."

Yes they bought their success.

"Also because Sony and Nintendo don't really do traditional shows at E3 and the fact EA never has enough to fill up their own show everyone just decides to hop onto Microsofts show with it being the only big one out there now."

I want to see Clock Work Revolution. It's definitely time to sew that game again.

No different then PS fans back during the PS4 days hootin and hollering every time Sony announce their showcase.

Sony shows were some of the best gaming events around so I understand. These days it seems like MS kills it at these events (finally) after decade and a half of false promises, plus they'll be 1st party multiplats for PS and Switch 2. Everyone gets to play.

68d ago 4 agree17 disagreeView comment

Well that was fast. Very fast. Hell when you own everything they don't do last minute scrambles like they use to do.

It's digital only again. Sick of this digital only events. I want a stage with hands on presentations like they use to do back then. Real time gameplay. Maybe the controller runs out of juice? Maybe the game glitches out? It's real and it's raw a bit funny but it's genuine.

I know, I know. The internet now isn't the ...

Nintendo is seeing what they can get away with and I'm sure Sony is curious. It's obviously what Nintendo is doing is anti consumer they've shown signs of f it such a rarely lowering prices and Breath of the wild being 70. So these price increases isn't crazy surprising. I'm starting to see Nintendo fanboys pop up on X as well. Well, Nintendo fanboys we haven't been properly introduced...

It's clear since they have semi modern hardware they'...

They're definitely not hitting that 100m subs. I don't know why they even said that.

Maybe not so much growth in terms of subs because they're not selling any consoles though the PC they've seen growth. Sustainability is what they're achieving. Because those games selling on PS will definitely help the studios immensely.

That or Increased GP prices which nobody wants but I think they're gonna do again anyway.

Those were in the dry years of Xbox. Plus their games are on PS now. Studio growth/health means more money to the studios means more GP grow also means more games for xbox ppl and PS ppl.

It was slowly dying then because there nothing to look forward to games wise. There's quite a bit to look forward to now.
