Demon's Souls, you will soon be mine!
"In other words, there’s simply too much at stake to blindly plop your cash down on for a mediocre game that might last you ten hours at most. Fortunately, College News is here to give you the lowdown on what video games this month you should avoid like the plague, and which games are worth eating instant noodles for a week for."
And yet you leave out Demon's Souls.
PS2 emulation makes everything better.
Demon's Souls and Uncharted 2. It's just a good combo. Triple A plus Triple A equals... sextuple A. That just sounds kinky. What a blissful October it will be.
What?! They have Sonic and The Black Knight but they don't have Valkyria Chronicles?!
Having both the God of War Collection and the Ico Collection available for the PS3 would be very big stepping stones in the advancement of finally emulating all of the PS2 games onto its successor. I plan on purchasing every collection that comes out. Here's hoping this particular collection is made into a reality.
I think Demon's souls Metacritic score is at 88 right now because of that 60/100. It deserves to be in the 90s. I think that when the game hits US retail then we'll see the rest of the major reviews sites like Gametrailers, IGN, etc to give it the recognition it so obviously deserves.
@Shinro
I would have to say Portal. There really isn't anything out there like it.
I enjoyed Mass Effect and look forward to it's sequel. That being said, I'm more interested in so many other awesome titles as well that ME2 is probably in the 5th or 6th spot on my most anticipated list. It's not that I think it will be bad but rather, it's that I think others will be better.
Demon's Souls
Final Fantasy XIII
Final Fantasy XIII Versus
You will soon be mine!
This is just money in Sony's pocket. Why not put these gems onto the PSN?
I'm a little confused on this whole feature. Will this be a one to one chat like XBL's Private Chat mode? Or will this be similar to the Party Chat mode where up to eight friends can be in a party together? I'm in need of enlightenment.
Dead Space isn't on the list and Bioshock is? I'm not condemning Bioshock in any shape or form but rather, I just find it weird how a game can beat another in a genre it was never in.
Final Fantasy Versus XIII makes everything better.
"The key to attracting more PS3 buyers is content. That's why Hirai is beefing up the PlayStation Network's offerings..."
*Cough* PS2 Games *Cough*
I thought Tales of Vesperia and Tales of the Abyss both had strong English voice casts.
I was pretty disappointed that they did not announce PS2 games coming to PSN but that was probably because of my own fault by getting swept up in all of the hype. But they didn't announce the cross-game voice chat until after so maybe they will do the same thing. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Brilliant!
PS2 games on PSN would make my year. Also, can't wait to see all of the RPG goodness that will be shown at TGS.
"...a title should only be produced with the urge to focus on game play (anything else should be a bonus)..."
And that's where you're wrong my misguided child. There are many titles to have graced the gaming industry for it's appealing story-driven experience.
