Is this speculation? I can imagine they will throw quite a lot at State of Play because of E3 being around that time etc. But do you know that by any chance?
From the PS3's introduction into the market, the PS3 outsold the 360 worldwide on a yearly basis. It then passed the 360's lifetime sales by the end of the generation.
You are losing focus... If a game claims to have HDR (which is a common feature for big budget games), but is broken, the review should take this into account. I'm not sure what is so hard to understand.
To answer your question, yes I did buy it, KNOWING they had HDR issues. Do you know how many people played through countless hours without even knowing? Only to be told to turn HDR off to see the massive visual difference. If more reviews addressed this, it would ha...
They should lose points when they claim to use HDR, but have fooled purchasers by effectively just increasing brightness.
If they did not 'use' HDR, then why was there an option for it?
I personally think that HDR is deemed as a 'function' within a game, and within the current climate of technology, with more and more people owning HDR ready TV's, it definitely affects the functionality of the game...
When reviewers are talking about graphics and visual aspects of the game, the lack of/fake HDR is a big issue.
There was almost no mention of a literally, broken HDR system in this game within reviews... What a joke game 'journalists' are..
You would expect this to be implemented much sooner by such a big studio.
Another example of awful media critique at the time when this game was released. It was one of the best games I played that year... Great game.
The worst console in living memory with regards to exclusives.
I typed 'Cackdown reviews' in google earlier (missing the R accidentally), and wondered why no one had used this as a name..... And here we have it..
alright
Do you know how many publications (roughly) exist.. About 50 have given their awards out so far.
God of War by far at the moment.
I am either suffering from open world fatigue, or I'm just not clicking with RDR2... I'm late into Chapter 2 I think, but I'm honestly bored out of my mind! I find the shooting mechanics to be AWFUL, the controls and player movement are clunky beyond belief, and the repetitive animations just to do the simplest of tasks are wearing extremely thin.
I can see the animations of the characters movements, voice acti...
I don't think I've ever been more excited about a game you have been working on either.
No chance.
Wait, you think that the Xbox One version is being reviewed differently to the PS4 version?
Would it not be more sensible to take the score from the reviews left on PS4 Metacritic considering the majority of publications are leaving their reviews there (as it is the most popular platform).
Xbox One reviews have 25 reviews, and the PS4 reviews have 71 (which the large majority review the game for both platforms).
Just when I thought an MS fans definition of what an 'exclusive' is couldn't be more delusional...
You've outdone yourself..
MS sites are a disgrace this gen.. They jump at the gun to give all MS games glowing reviews in a desperate bid For games to perform better, while articles like this are spewed out.
Shills.
My math?
4 out of 8 perfect scores are MS sites (fair enough!), but the the top 4 out of 5 are MS sites
You might want to look at your reading comprehension regarding shill sites.. (read above).
I understand that, but nowhere near as much comparatively. In fact, some of those sites are quite harsh/harsher on PS games.
It's not hard to go and look yourself.
To be honest, I'm not meaning to discredit the game intentionally... It looks amazing, but I find the MS sites disingenuous - more so than other publications dedicated to one platform.
Yes please, I actually preferred Evil Within 2 to Resident Evil 2 Remake personally. This 100% deserves a third.
