Do you think that it was then fair (with the idea of giving informed information on gameplay and other assets in the game) to have Kallie Plagge review Day's Gone, when she clearly has such preconceived notions with many of the themes in the game, thus actually giving no opinion on the gameplay or aesthetics at all?
To be honest I'm still getting this game for my kid at Xmas; my point was of a different nature.

Just wondering... Do you think that giving 2 devout Pokemon lovers the chance to write a review for these professional publications (IGN and Gamespot), in order to inform the public of the games pro's and cons, is the best way to garner a healthy, to some extent, objective view on the game?
This is their 1st console attempt, so you would think it might be time to progress to a level that seems a bit more coherent with the films and animated series.. If you are happy with it, then good for you - to me it looks lazy.
My main point was that if this had released for the ps4, with these animations and cut scenes (un-dubbed), it would certainly be a big focus in reviews.
I, you know, own a switch too, actually... If you can tell me a way to prove it then I will.
I have watched the first 70 minutes and can tell you that the animations are atrocious, and my opinion is that the un-dubbed cut scenes make everything feel very out of place - my opinion.

All the responses from multiple sites with regards to Death Stranding's 'worrying' file size is all I need to know, apart from the countless, quite hypocritical concerns about the PS4 and the PS5.
The absolute drilling 'Day's Gone' received is also absolutely astonishing, compared to the apparent same non-issues in other games from similar genres.

Just because it didn't get the highest average, doesn't mean the people on the panel etc don't think it's Game of The Year.
