I'll eat my words on this being tone deaf actually. The thing about Half life was that it was revolutionary which is difficult to do nowadays, VR seems a perfect outlet to bring something new to the table. Cant wait to pick this up
How is xbox forcing this down your throat when they are releasing a dedicated home console with it? With xbox it's an option, Google not so much hence why Microsoft are doing it better
This game is really great, I'm not too far in but I'm having a blast so far
The fabled xbox 360 HD DVD drive, remember seeing mountains of those in Pawn shops and thrift stores for ages
Yeah it's strange, there is loads of really interesting facts and stats about the 360s and PS3s development and I feel that not many people would know that. I never really worry about the agrees and disagrees, doesn't matter much :)
Another interesting reason for the delay was that the first batch of chips which Sony funded and ordered were defective, where as Microsoft bought backups from a 3rd party. So Microsoft got chips Sony funded even before Sony did, as Sony didn't consider the chance of Microsoft asking IBM for a chip, with IBM showing them what they were working on for Sony
Neither company had great luck during RnD last gen
Control being there instead of DMC 5 or Fire emblem is highly questionable, other games are fine though
It's a shame as it could be incredible but it's had ridiculous hype throughout the years, completely agree
This is Diablo immortals level of tone deaf unless they also announce HL3 or a HL2 remake
I doubt it's final but I'd be fine with that, don't need to fix what's not broken
There is no reason not to own a ps4 at that price point with those games bundled in
I feel that regarding souls games. Playing through code vein was really tough but I enjoyed the game due to having to think about boss patterns and stuff like that, and with Souls, Sekiro and bloodborne it was a lot the same. Definitely not everyone's cup of tea though
Couldn't have said it better. People were acting like this game was a broken and buggy mess but it's far from it, just some lazy animations and cut corners (like trainers not being animated when you climb ladders, pop ins, etc) but it's nothing that ruins the experience.
Very fun game that I think was a good start for the generation on their home console. Think everyone can agree that the backgrounds and music in the game are incredible. Also a little note but G...
And everyone I've spoke to has said they are having a lot of fun with it, albeit without its problems.
Very interested to see how the switch sales look for the week
You're finally realising sites like N4G are a vocal minority?
Yeah I hope we get a BoTW style renaissance moment for the next entry as it needs it, guess we wait and see how they respond with the heavily rumoured 4th gen remakes
It's definitely the weakest in the franchise but still a really fun game, which is what pokemon is about primarily. I hope game freak take the criticism and make the next one's something special
Who plays a game that's not fun for them? Fun is subjective but I can't imagine playing a game if there was no enjoyment in it for me
Severely overlooked, same as XD. I'd love if they revisited the series with all the new pokemon they have now
They have completely different art styles plus less unique animations than Sword/Shield. Battle revolution on the Wii though probably had some of the best animations in the series (who were the developers of XD and Colosseum)
