I'm so happy Tony Hawk Pro Skater made the top 20, the game is perfect and everything a remake should be so I cant wait for them to hopefully remake 3 &4 as well as the underground series.
But the switch is selling faster than both ps4/xbox one when you align launches so what's your point? And going back to what you said about revenue/profits, Switch has sold at a profit since launch and their releases this year haven't typically been big budget, besides Animal Crossing.
Not sure why you're trying to deflect from the switch doing incredibly well.

I swear every time these articles come up there it at least one person who doesn't read them. This is a comparison of switch vs ps4 sales in the same monthly timeframe, not of current sales.
Perfect example of this in recent memory is Atelier Ryza which was fantastic.
The idea of this game is really nice and something that sounded interesting but this looks completely unfinished and pre-alpha. Hope another dev can have a crack at this type of simulator as it sounds really charming
Would chuck the success of animal crossing: New Horizons on the list too. Everyone knew the game was going to be successful but to sell 26 million copies in 6 months is astounding. Been a fantastic year for gaming all round

There was a really cool method used by Currys PC World in the UK. Basically they listed the consoles as £2500 and basically made it so you had to sign up with your email to receive a unique voucher code for £2000, that you put in at checkout. Scalper bots don't detect it as it's £2500 but real people only pay £500 which I thought was really smart
If you actually care about the games you'll support them no matter what. Plus it looks like this newest entry (which is fantastic) is selling very well and could push it into the mainstream a bit more. Timed exclusivity sucks but both companies do it and it's something we have to live with. Besides the dev team probably have no say on what business deals SEGA make involving release and marketing.

Definitely. I'm more inclined to believe Japanese companies considering how they are structured and weren't prepared for working at home as much as America but it's still up for debate. You get great instances like Quiby failing being blamed on covid though..
I mean do they need one? They have multiple games in the top 10 of the week in multiple different countries and have the most available stock in terms of consoles. Supplementing massive titles with a big release for fans of BoTW is pretty smart considering how open they have been about covid severely affecting their development. Personally have no interest in this but a lot of people will be during the holidays
I would really love for them to add the quick resume feature that the Series X has. I didn't think I'd notice it but going from game to game seamlessly is such a luxury to have and one that once you have it you don't know how you lived without it. I'm not sure what goes into to making it work but I hope that it could be added in a firmware update down the line.
With limited stock this year for the new consoles Nintendo could have a fantastic holiday, could definitely see them shadow dropping a big release/discounted bundle for December.
