@Petebloodyonion consoles run the market mostly, since the install base is big and the requirements are static/same configuration, so they are usually made console first...not pc in mind. That is why usually pc ports are quite shit.
Minimum requirements are just the recommendation that you should even try to run the game on your system. On pc you can lower everything to make it look worse than the console counterpart to make it maybe run on your system.

not quite. almost all VR's on PC use beacons and infrareds to pin point the headset and controllers. Quest seems to have some kind of trickery behind the software for it to make PCVR titles to recognize the play area from the Quest system since it does not use beacons, only headset cameras and infrareds. If you open a controller, get the stick out from the component, spray contact cleaner on its parts from the sides and top. Then move the stick for every direction for 1min. In most cases this fixes it, I have fixed loads of them and the ones that were fixed, haven't heard them since being broken again and it was a year ago.
As mentioned before usb devices on ps5 can interfere with the bluetooth and cause stick drift. But if you have a real stick drift on your controller, open it and spray contact cleaner on the sticks components, move the sticks on all directions and it should fix it most of the time. Not a sure bet, but works most of the time.

It could be that certain parts are the ones giving them a headache in the production, so these changes could just be made by A) making it cheaper B) able to produce more units. For example we have ordered hundreds laptops which have 8-12 month delay, docking stations 6 month delay, LTE cards 4 month delay. Also when we order repairs of certain parts, they used to take max 2 weeks if the part had to be ordered. Now it's 1-2 months.
