@Reaper22_ doing the exact thing? Nintendo is doing differently and innovating + good amount of exclusives. Sony and MS should try to innovate too, at least Sony has some exclusives. Nobody said that dev's are forced to use GP, but its very different to sell 100k copies of 60€ game to get 100k dollar lump sum if you put it on GP. Also let's not lie ourselves that if good game is on GP, that people go out and buy the game separately. Some yes, most no, half no.

Never before was the main character or one of the characters been some real person from history. Also they always where native to the country where the games where set except this and black flag (welsh pirate in carribean, most pirates where european). They even had said in interviews that they felt that people could not get into the Japanese culture if both characters where Japanese. Funny how it was not a problem on other AC's.
Amy Hennig was the carrying force of making stories in the studio. When she left, he did what...last of us 2 by himself which people hated due to story issues. I think he never had a proper game story in him to begin with.

It's not finished yet doofus. I played Valheim 70h in couple weeks and been visiting it couple times after that. There has been lot of changes, but I'm waiting for the completion so I would have proper amount of new biomes to explore. I would imagine a lot of ppl are doing the same with this game.
Firstly half of those started development before gamepass was a thing and secondly they are backed by MS who has more money than anyone. On a third party standpoint the view is totally different to first party MS studios. Your argument is invalid.

The MP portion was decent so that's why reviews or word of mouth did not affect sales that much. it's still mostly MP game. Happy that The Finals came now, way more fun than the MW3 beta I tested.

@Ironmike I find this way more enjoyable than latest cods, apex or bf2042. Played 20h on open beta and way more now and still not feeling bored at all.

Teardown, Battlefield bad company/3 and Red faction guerrilla says "hi". It's amazing that we used to have games where you actually can destroy everything, nowadays everything is so static. This has been the better FPS that I have seen since original MW and BF3. The game does not need 120 players or fast paced slide bunny hopping to be good and entertaining.

Larian had to:
- delay the game on Xbox
- get special permission from Xbox to drop the parity to loose coop on the XS
- do extra 3-4 months work on the XS to make it work properly
I think that is very indicative that XS is hindering development. Also even if there was a PS4 or Switch or X0 version coming out, optimizations learned from there ...
