I can finally leave my ps3 in remote play when I'm not at home and still fold :D

Everyone has a right to an opinion, but this topic is going to get very ugly very quickly if everyone starts pitching in with their political commentary.

Lets just use the Agree and Disagree buttons, avoid the whole flameware, and keep on the topic about the game and not current world situations please.

Does this require a homebrew firmware? I can't get it to run on 3.52

Yep, same here. I'm folding 24x7 when I'm not playing or watching movies. I'm on the N4G folding at home team and currently have 299 work units with 245 for the N4G team. My PS3 hasn't been turned off since folding at home came out.

I now have over 30 blu-ray movies and no plans to buy a stand alone player. The PS3 does it all and will always be updated dynamically in case the copy protection scheme changes. With the wireless remote for it its just really really good at what it does.

If only the PS3 could take a movie from a DVD or Blu-Ray and put it on my psp to watch mobile... now THAT would be something.

In a legal way I mean :)

after reading the Kotaku comments.

I... am a graphics snob.

I've been gaming since my first computer a Texas Instruments 99/4a. It was a hand me down but it was fun. But I always looked at my friends Commodore 64 and thought, wow that looks amazing! I wish I had that!

Then I got a Commodore 128 and it was good... until I saw the first Nintendo Entertainment system. I thought This is AMAZING! It was head and shoulders above anything on the mark...

Want to bet on how well it works with Linux? *smirk*

But I do have to say in St. Louis I was at Best Buy yesterday and there was a stack of about 10 PS3's sitting out on display.

Maybe this story is more about Circuit City's failing purchasing department than the PS3's phenomenal sells.

If a little white thing can get you to do all that, what will the Sony PSEye do when it can map your whole body into games?

What other unpleasent things can we get people to do once you make it into a game?

LittleBigVegetables ... eat vegetables to save the princess!
TaxInvaders ... Who can complete the 1040 the fastest and with the most pizaz!
FlossingToTheOldies ... Get in between your teeth while keeping rhythm!

"Because nothing excites a kid like a pie chart or graph!"
With exciting games like, leaning from side to side!
Sticking out one leg!
Sticking out the OTHER leg!
Making Dance Dance Revolution much easier with only TWO buttons instead of those pesky 8.

I'm still laughing from the sarcasticgamer video Skillet_135 posted to N4G a few days ago about this.

http://www....

This should already be covered under reckless driving and/or driving while distracted laws. They really need to stop making laws for political gains, and start making/enforcing laws that are really for public good.

I won't feed the troll, but this opinion is both scary and offensive. The irony of saying this in a thread about censorship is not lost on me.

Its my primary bluray player and will continue to be so. I'm not one bit concerned about "wearing out the drive". The PS2 was notorious for its bad laser, I'm pretty sure this is not going to be a problem again. Honestly, if it is, then I'll get a new one or get this one repaired. Its just worth it to me to have a single HDMI device so I don't have to worry about switching everything around all the time.

MK Red, just wanted to let you know I was trying to click Agree, but I slipped and clicked Disagree. Didn't want you wondering how anyone could disagree with that!
