Heavy Rain was a brilliant game, and miles better than Indigo Prophecy, so hopefully Quantic Dream will keep the pattern going, and these two games will be even better.
The analog controller is a brilliant multi-genre device, and I have yet to see anything (except maybe KB+M) which works better overall.
That's true; games are cheaper. A good computer, however, is much more expensive than a PS3/360. It's worth the price, of course, but many people don't realise that, or simply can't afford it.
PC gaming costs more than console gaming.
PC gaming is better than console gaming, for pretty much all of the reasons that the author listed. The article is quite clearly driven by jealousy, because it is grasping at straws.
So what's the problem?
Anonymous will have lost interest in Sony by this time next week, let alone by June.
Well, that was mildly irritating. They managed to bring the PSN down for an entire few hours >_>
Props to Sony for dealing with this so quickly.
I don't approve of what they're doing, but it's hardly shocking. This is pretty standard Anonymous fare - DDoS something for a few days, then get bored and find something else to hate. Sony's servers can handle it; don't worry.
Give up? This is public information. They want people to know this.
AAA game, eh?
What bets this will be a game about batteries? :P
Nice review. But I just can't stand monthly fees.
I don't think so. After launch, games sell on word of mouth, and pretty much everything I've heard about the game has been negative.
This game is genuinely awful. I have no idea how it's been getting reviews in the 60% range.
Don't do this to me, Ueda-san. Six years we will have been waiting for Last Guardian. Don't let your mind wander when you're this close!
I'm a PS3 fan. Why the hell would I be upset if new 360 exclusives were announced? I suppose I would be happy that 360 owners were getting a good lineup, but nothing more.
He's buying a quality game without worrying about his console allegiance. We should be cheering him on for that.
Why would anyone play a Blizzard game on a console?
I trust them to focus on the PC version, but then I trusted Crytek to do the same, and look what happened there.
It's consulted by several large companies who are willing to pay for extra data. I don't honestly think ioi cares what a random N4G user things. And yes, I am a member of VGC.
Okay, why are we even listening to this? It's written with kindergarten-level grammar and spelling, it's from a random no-name blog, and the source...VGChartz.
There's nothing wrong with using VGChartz as a source. It's not completely reliable, but it gives decent estimates. ioi is not a 360 fanboy, he doesn't even own a 360. I know, I've spoken to him.
The main problem is that, using VGC numbers, KZ3 isn't even close to best-selli...
You didn't think there would be a reason to rebuy it? It's in 3D!
This comparison reminded me of just how incredible the colossi looked, especially for back in the PS2 era (when upscaled into 720p).
In technical graphics, for obvious reasons, TLG looks better. As for artistic design... I would give it to SoTC right now, but that's not really fair: all we've seen of TLG is two characters, some enemies and a couple of environments.
Having said that, some of the colossi even at the beginning of SoTC looked incredible....
