Sarcasm doesn't go over well on the internet, so I may have missed something, but... Bungie makes Halo. Sony Santa Monica makes God of War.
You only need ONE kidney.
Well, it's good to see that VGC can do something besides make up numbers.
;-)
The Heavy Rain Twitter accounts were pretty interesting as well, but they weren't really related to the game.
Bethesda's recent work has been less than stellar, but this looks very good indeed.
Does it have ninjas, though?
DLC this gen has been less than stellar on the whole (Prince of Persia, Assassin's Creed II), but hopefully, this can break the trend.
It was nice knowing you. Well, for a while. Then you bought Blizzard and became d***s.
I've been hyped for this game for quite a while, and it's good to see that the early reviews are so overwhelmingly positive.
Then it's a damned amazing one! How many movies let you control one of the characters and ultimately infuence the plot line? =D
It's more of a watchable game than an interactive movie, really. The game part is central to Heavy Rain.
Hopefully, more people can see this article, and realise that Heavy Rain is more than just a cutscene with quicktime events.
Good to see people being creative with achievements, unlike SOME developers.
Agreed.
Great review!
Motion control would not work with God of War, at ALL. Don't try and force in a feature which has no place in the game.
Many 360, Wii, PS3, PS2, and DS exclusives have sold those numbers. The impressive thing here is how enormous an improvement over Mass Effect 1 this is in terms of Opening Week sales. It's a good trend in the industry at the moment: improved sequels are selling better than their originals. Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, Uncharted, A Crack in Time...
God of War III will be an absolute beast. At this rate, it has a shot at 1 million first week worldwide.
MAG should also have a nice debut, as will Bad Company 2.
Heavy Rain isn't looking too strong, but my expectations for American sales weren't very high to begin with.
Also, the userbase here is improving, because it's been 17 comments and we still don't have a "VGC SUCKS IT HAS MADE UP NUMBERS!" post.
The 360 can't even handle these graphics!
(Kidding).
I remember that article. All it said was that you shouldn't complain about the state of the review system while simultaneously complaining about a metascore. I don't personally agree with the author's views, but they're perfectly valid.
