I don't get why the shell of a machine matters so much to people....
It makes sense seeing how different the new controller is and the extra features so I don't mind that the DS3 won't work. The only thing that gets me is what is that light bar for. Is it just 6axis? And if so why could they just but it in the controller like the DS3?
You had to plug the ps2 controller in but the DS3 uses Bluetooth. There's no reason why it should work with the ps4 besides they want you to buy the new one. I don't mind too much but I don't like the new design.
They probably pull a kinect a show trailers of games that will never come out anytime soon. Like milo and RISE.

I loved how they introduced it. There was no big drum roll and firework just here's the ps4 and this is what it'll have. They can save the big show for E3 I just want info on specs and I was blown away. The reveal of infamous and knack were a major bonus.
1. Kinect is not better than move. There hasn't been one game that's worked really well and made people go WOW this amazing. On the other hand games like KZ3, infamous 2, sly cooper collection etc. are fully workable with move. I don't care about motion controls but buttons beat none.

Good point but I remember unleashed 2 was hardly the same game. The AI was terrible and the enemies were cut in half. This may not be the case with watch dogs though.
I don't see the wiiu getting a ton of multiplatform games, if any at all. It's not even getting support right now. Third parties tried to make wii games because it was a massive hit. Everyone had one but the wiiu is a different story.

I wouldn't mind if they did. They should just focus on the ps4. The ps3 has had a great run but if they want to get people to buy into the ps4 they need to give them a reason. There's s good 7 years of ps3 backlog so there's no reason to waste resources supporting anymore.

They need to save something for E3. Plus didn't you realize there way no big reveal of the ps4. They don't want it to be the main focus right now but rather the software.

Evil cole becomes the beast and can give certain people powers. He mentions a brother in the 2nd game so the guy in the trailer is probably him, seeing how they have similar powers. Imagine how short the game would be if you were playing as cole, the beast.
Cole didn't die and they never completed Coles story. If you look at the first game evil cole invades good Coles world and that's way Kessler goes back in time etc. etc. ill be annoyed if they throw that history out the window. The least they can do is reference it in the new game if that is a new protagonist.
