@getowned the creator of smash bros. said it could be years before wiiu get a SB game and admitted they announced the game when it's not even in production. On ther other hand wipeout 2048 will let you play against ps3 player and other psv's in any combination. ex. 6 ps3 and 2 psv or 4 and 4 or 5 and 3 etc.
@levelhead ever heard of remote play? well it's been on the ps3 since day one and it allows you to stream music, videos, and games to your psp. The main problem though was that the ps3 was far superior to the psp, and it's lack of a second analog stick limited the type of game that could be streamed. Basically if you have a ps3 and psp you can already do what the wiiU is claiming to do. Check it out on youtube if you don't believe me.
that would be a reason to use the 3ds over a tv unless you have a 3dtv then it's up in the air.
He has probably played the games before just not those copies he's going to be a millionaire in 10 years though.
Exactly what i was thinking about a red dead type of MP would be perfect. Each person has a set of mission you must do and blast shards to collect and while your doing that someone else may hunt you down and take your blast shards or assist you with mission and battles etc. A plain and simple death match would be pretty cool too imo.
Great feature but really not ideal for the 3ds. First the screen is pretty small and your going to have to hold it which can be unenjoyable. The biggest problem of all is that you must use wifi because the lack of 3g so your limited to wifi hotspot like your home in which you could just use your tv. Some phones though can be used as hotspots and you can always buy a hotspot thing from the phone companies though. Great feature none the less.
@sin151 "if you look at kinect the only game you can actually play the WHOLE GAME with kinect OR a controller is CoE" please read and comprehend comments before you reply. In forza 4 you are NOT able to play the main game with kinect only. It's only the tacked on racer(like joy ride) that supports kinect. Rise of Nightmares doesn't support a controller so that point is invalid. I think black water does support both but what are these "other titles" you mention and...
it'd be better for consumers if they just made software because their hardware is usually outdated and hardly gets third party support. Imagine pokemon on the PSV or zelda and smash bros. etc on the ps3 and xbox.
"more than capable".......the 3ds doesn't even have two analog sticks, in fact it doesn't even have one, it has a nub which wouldn't be ideal for a bioshock game.
the two are totally different that's way if you look at kinect the only game you can actually play the whole game with kinect or a controller is CoE but move can is more than just an add-on. If you look at RE5, KZ3, HR, etc. your playing the original game but with a different control scheme but if you take a look at forza 4, ME3, GR:FS, HP:DH p.1, there's no way kinect can actually play one of those games with kinect only so it's tacted on in some mini-game or for voice commands w...
little you know cause i use a wireless mouse and keyboard. Also it's very useful because i'm able to download and stream movies and music.
^ that made my day, thanks.
i read somewhere that ATT was going to have group plans but could have just been a rumor. Either way i don't think many will care for the 3g version, the included gps is great but for me i'm mostly at home so wifi's perfect.
me too!
why so worried just sit back and watch the frenzy come january.
it better, really..... or what you won't buy, i doubt it.
the 3ds doesn't have a great battery life but you don't have to have it plugged in all the time also there are battery extenders so i'd refrain from forming hypothetical situation in your head and presenting them as if they were true. PS people said there was no way it'd cost under $350, so they may surprise again.
the rpg is 14 medals and you press L1 and R1 to choose a different layout
