I'm really interested but its Bethesda. Bethesda has lost all credibility with me. After Fallout and Skyrim the name Bethesda is synonymous with PS3 bugs.
I will wait for the game to be released and then wait a month to see there are no reports of game crippling bugs.

Sony didn't learn anything. Vita is proof. PS3 was a disaster for Sony. You would think they'd take a serious mistake where you go from total market dominance in PS2 days to now where you are lucky to be 50/50 after 5-6 years. You would think Sony would never want to repeat such a monstrous error but the Vita has so many similarities to the PS3 launch.
They lost so many loyal Sony consumers. Lost so much marketshare. Lost so much goodwill. They will really need a hom...

This could be a potential game changer for me if they pull it off. If majority of the publishers adopt this and I can buy a PS3 game and then download a Vita version of it, heck I'll even be willing to pay $10-$20 for it. Then I can overlook the high Vita price and high memory card price.

This really puts the final nail in the coffin. I'm never buying a Vita now. Instead of more hype and excitement as time goes by after the launch its the other way around.
After the launch, we should be reading about how awesome the Vita is and how people are discovering pleasant surprises about their Vita. Continue to excite us with a constant flow of amazing titles but instead is a dry desert of new AAA releases and now this?

That is a interesting point. The Vita does have a lot of technology to justify the price but there are not enough games/function to make it worth $250.
I don't think the iPad would sell so well at that high price if it didn't have all the function and software that are available. If it was just a big pretty screen and just did videos and 2-3 interesting things and the rest were meh then people wouldn't buy it.

Personally for me this is looking more like Game of the Year. If I could only buy 1 game for the rest of 2012 AND 2013 it would be this. It is infinitely replayable just like the Civilization games and I'm sure there will be DLC or scenarios and bonus packs.
Vita is not dead or "doomed" but the high price and proprietary memory cards is hindering its potential success.

I don't care if Vita is a technical beast. How powerful it is means nothing if there are no equivalent "beast" software. You enjoy the games/software not the hardware.

1) You can't sell it? huh? Just go to kijiji or craiglist and you see literally hundreds of people selling the game and ACCOUNT. Yeah you need the cd key to make an account but you can transfer that by giving your user name and password.

Successfully implement that free crossplay. I will even be willing to pay $10-$20 to be able to get a Vita copy of any PS3 game. Man I'd love to be able to play Xcom: Enemy Unknown or AC or Far Cry or Hitman on the Vita. Bring those AAA titles on the Vita and I'll buy it.
Just sheer numbers of titles won't help. Bring good quality and variety of games to make the $250 and the ridiculous memory card prices worth it.
