We all know PS3 still has more in store for us. It seriously is just getting started. With so much promise waiting to be tapped it's a good thing I have the excellent games already out and coming out in the near future to hold me over to even better games.

Ok maybe more than a few before I got good. COD4 was the same though. I didn't get 30 kills my first MP match. Now I can all the time. Any new game is tough on MP. It's the learning curve.
I own all 3 on PS2 and I can't wait to own this one as well.
The PS3 has owned Japan against 360 since release and now has taken Europe even the UK (the price drop increase will not last forever) and is even beginning to outsell the 360 in the US. If PS3 can outsell 360 worldwide in 2007 being so down and ragged on all the time just imagine how well it will do with momentum, its biggest and best games hitting, plus online functionality that will rival and even surpass live.

You need to accept reality. R2 will pawn all. Insomniac has proven themselves twice on the PS3 and continues to offer more. They are one developer that I listen to and believe because so far everything they have said about their games is 100% true. The only thing that could offer any competition is Gears 2 and honestly I didn't care for the first much so you will have to bring more than one game.
2008 belongs to Sony.
Just makes it that much more desirable. They are doing everything right with it and I can't wait to see a trailer. With how good the action was in the first the second should be beyond epic. Cannot wait for this game. Insomniac have earned more than my respect. Definitely a day 1 purchase.
But the 360 controller sucks. That is the most uncomfortable controller I've ever played with. I don't know how 360 people play with it because it's just too weird. The analog in the wrong spot bothers me most. Plus the fact they ripped off the buttons from Sony and just switched them around. They are called R1, R2, L1, L2 by the way.
I think I am the only person that didn't care for rumble and turned it off when I could. I hated the controller shaking in my hand. To me it was a nuisance. I was actually glad the six-axis didn't rumble. But I'm glad DS3 is coming for everyone that misses the rumble. Game on everyone.
P.S. Never had a "disconnect" from my controller while playing my PS3. I didn't know they did that.

Is in panic mode period. Since the beginning of the year they are seeing what the trend is shaping up as and I think they should be scared. They won't have a bad year but 2007 will look like a dream considering what Sony is bringing this year.

You're right and I think I remember hearing at least one of the MS executives saying that their next-gen console would work for more than 20 mins after firing it up. Oh well just goes to show you that you can't always believe all the PR talk. At least my launch console is working after more than a year. Seriously never died. Never scratched a disk. Never had a disk read error. Never had to send it back. It works.
Yeah right like 360 fans don't jump on KZ2 constantly eventhough it's not even released and bash it. Bad visuals, bad AI, bad gameplay I've heard all of those from "halo fans" and KZ2 isn't even out. Other than COD4 I didn't know of any other games that cracked out 60fps. It is by no means the norm, yet. The concept of this game with each side having their strengths and weaknesses is still what interests me. As long as the frame-rate is steady I will be satified with 30fps.
30 FPS is fine as long as it doesn't dip lower. Of course 60 is better but honestly 30 is all I was expecting. Still interested in this game.

Considering ever since I've been on this site you've been hating on the PS3 and anyone that supports it. All I've ever seen from you is how great the 360 is and bad/overrated the PS3 is. Hope you are seeing the light and changing your tune because PS3 is starting to take back its throne.
He was talking about Killzone 2 and Uncharted. Both of which do exactly what 1701D said and have been shown running on a SINGLE PS3. Uncharted especially because we already have it and Killzone 2 has been shown in demo for audiences running on a PS3 being played by the dev.
Xbox360 has no answer for these games on any engines. Deal with it. No game matches technically or graphically with Uncharted and certainly none with KZ2. Granted Gears had textures but nothing much else. Unch...
Uncharted alone justified my $600 on a launch console. Not to mention Warhawk, Resistance, Heavenly Sword, COD4, and R&C:TOD. All excellent games and combined were more than enough to justify my PS3.
Though Crysis is amazing, it does not justify me buying a new computer or even upgrading my 2 year old Vaio enough to play it. PS3 graphics may or may not equal or surpass Crysis but it doesn't matter because they still look SPECTACULAR on my HDTV while crysis still sits at the...
