PS2 vs Xbox vs Gamecube was a very one sided console war especially considering the sales of PS2 but the other console had good games too just they came in too late to have an major impact on the war.
Dragon Age Inquisition, GTA V (will trade in my last gen version to help with that) and PES 2015, Might look at the other games but can't too many being released in November so will wait for them.

The Console War won't truly kick off until 2015 as that will be when the AAA+ Exclusives will go head to head on the eighth generation of consoles.
The only other killer app could be a completely new The Legend of Zelda game for WII-U as that franchise still has a massive fan base, also the series in general has always lives up to expectations.
