Microsoft had the momentum during the Xbox 360 era but at the end of that console they kind of dropped off and haven't really had that same sort strength as they did during that console generation don't get me wrong Xbox one and Xbox Series have been great consoles but not as much impact as the Xbox 360 for me just my opinion. For me Xbox 360 is the best console they ever made for me in terms of games and experience.

Sony has been Americanized while Nintendo has stuck to it's roots which seems to be a big difference in the Japanese Market today.
Apple would be a huge competitor to M$ if they get involved in the video gaming as they could spend just as much as them so some can say this move by M$ is to preserve the industry from being transformed by Amazon, Facebook, Netflix, Apple and I think Sony is in an agreement with Microsoft on this.
So Microsoft and Sony are actually protecting the business some can say with these acquisitions.

Yes because Video Games has caused violence even though the history of human race has been violent from its beginnings and has many great wars long before all this. Just enough distraction to make the shooters being victims and the cause of them doing it be video games this is so stupid I mean how do these people even get into office!!

If Microsoft becomes as aggressive as they were during the first half of last gen then yes we will see some things for sure but for now we just have to sit tight hope something happens in terms of more exclusives in 2018 like Sony has already planned for next year.

I did hope for a sequel to BF1 with more maps, modes, factions and stories but keep the core of gameplay similar to BF1 just make it more detailed and effects. BFV doesn't count as the sequel.
