What's sad is how we went from expansions, to where we are now. The promise of "support" for games was never truly realized during the PS360 gens. Most games had MP shoehorned into em to have em "supported" with 15 dollar map packs. And when we did get SP DLC they were 10 dollar 40 minute long content. Now they purposely ruin games to "support" em with over priced skins and occasionally add more for people to do which turn out to be reskin/reused content. Why...
An in-between then should be considered more often. I'm just not a fan of the long stretches of land of nothing. Idk whatchu mean by the last thing tho, I like ND.
A more melee oriented Last of Us 2 would've been so much better imo. The combat mechanics barely got any use from me cause everyone just shoots at you, and then the Scars with their bows are even more annoying. Level design was also more Bloodborne, and I love the level design in Souls game, there's a real sense of scale and exploration due to the branching paths. We really gotta move away from open world in the style of GTA and BoTW and do it more like Souls.
If SONY wasn't pushing this live service crap ND would've released SP DLC or a new game by now. Only seen about half of the doc, but these guys must be pretty disappointed that they're projects have been pushed back so long by a MP game that was set up to be cancelled.
Technically you can still get it digitally if you pirate it, the promise of digital is kept alive by the people. Thankfully I bought it long ago, think it's time I sat down and actually play it tho.
Spiderman is a good example and so is Days Gone. I absolutely loved swinging and riding the motorcycle that I only ever fast traveled just to see how it worked.
Double take on that site name lolz. Also who needs a tutorial for this?
If the next Hogwarts game is always on then I'm gonna be turned off to it.
Since my switch to the Deck most of my purchases have been through Steam. I'm not all against all digital, but most if not all of my digital purchases have been well below 10 bucks. There's also more assurance on PC because should Steam ever shut down I will pirate all the games I had previously owned without any regret. On consoles I don't trust shite. If we move onto digital, which I'm all for, then there needs to be major change. We must own our digital purchases, not let e...
Capcom has made Zelda games in the past, there's no reason why Konami which has been out of touch for the longest time with the gaming industry can't go to the one other publisher that has absolutely nailed their horror game remakes.
If I were Konami I would've worked something out with Capcom, and gotten the RE remake guys to work on this.
That's a weird way to spell Bloodborne
People in here very confused. It's a paid product, so then it is subject to being scrutinized and rightfully so. When the game is out of early access then it'll be reviewed as a more complete product.
I'm loving this found footage trend, and the backrooms games being made are also pretty great.
No, but concept videos should be kept confidential rather than showed to the public. More so when you're selling an incomplete game, in early access, early access which has quite a list of games that are either killed off, stay the same, or progressively get worse.
Hooray, moar generic f2p shooters!
There's a strong feeling of indifference at this point, as there's been so many games that have come out in such a poor state. There's definitely so much bad in the industry right now, that I couldn't care less. I stay away from 99% of games released, cause it's the only other option. IGN isn't the most trusted, but withholding review copies is a huge red flag.
Final Fantasy has had many games with direct sequels, idk why years later people keep calling 7 episodic
Hope they remove denuvo, steam deck can use the performance boost however small it may be
How is it even possible to hit that much cost?
