Personally I would've liked it if they just made the sequel all about Abby and then the 3rd game about Ellie. Continuing that cycle of revenge and hate that I don't think was shown off all that well in Part 2.

I wouldn't say it's unwarranted. Some people didn't like Part 2, and they don't trust this to be any different than that. Of course most wanna pretend that legit criticism doesn't exist towards ND and just say it's people hating for the sake of hating. It's easy to see what you're looking for specifically, and easier to ignore the rest to prove yourself right. Hopefully there's more to see this year, with any luck they'll have a release too.
It's hilarious to see how people can't understand that DEI is the complete opposite of what it set out to achieve in the first place. It was always a flawed concept that required discrimination in order to work, which in turn meant that it wasn't working at all.
it's really not that hard. Life is Strange is a slice of life with a supernatural twist to it. Just hire any manga author that has written a slice of life and it'll be better than all the other games you've shat out in the series so far. Nah we need them to finish what they started in KH2. We need to see where Cloud and Sephiroth went when they vanished during their fight. Idk why they decided to focus so much on a parody of FF when FF was part of the series from the beginning. They removed FF from KH3 just to bring in a parody of vs13, makes no sense.

I leave my ps4 on rest mode mostly cause I forget and then I'm too lazy to turn it back on to turn it off. But the real reason I prefer turning off my console is due to shite-tastic wiring in old buildings that cause random surges and shut downs. That short period where your console doesn't turn back on after spamming the power button after a random surge… not fun.
Why? Remedy were already making mature games while ND were still making platformers and they wouldn't get around making mature games til the end of the PS3 gen with TLoU. Remedy was already ahead, y'all just went a different direction during that gen.
I've always thought of Minecraft as a game that does a lot of things but doesn't put too much depth into em. It leans towards being a light weight RPG but doesn't commit to adding in the mechanics in between that corresponds to the mechanics already implemented. There's a lot to be added to Minecraft that Mojang seems reluctant to.
This the same guy who was indecisive about everything being added to Minecraft and would take years of overthinking to finally implement things into the game. Just something to keep in mind. But his name alone could sell this and even dethrone Minecraft if he plays it right. Just funny how people on Twitter are reacting. It's cause we've been fed that in order for the gaming industry to mature we need more generic third person action/adventure games with pew pew and try hard stories that come off preachy/convoluted. So of course people would turn on Astro, it's the complete opposite of what we've been getting throughout the generations. People can't fathom how a game that isn't at the level of an ND game graphically could possibly win anything.
I've been waiting for their original IP since SoTC. Pretty disappointed that it was a live service game. Can't imagine their frustration at the cancellation after years of working on that shite. This gen has been the worst.
