It's been a problem with pretty much every modern AAA game all through last gen and this gen. God forbid you point it out tho because all these big games are masterpieces and people lose their minds if you criticize them. Death Stranding is a fetch quest fest, but people will die defending it cause it's a "masterpiece".
That's what I'm saying doe, vote with your wallet and don't buy into the mtx. It's literally all that can be done, because casuals will most likely buy the game to and buy into the mtx and there's not much the hardcore can do about that.

I do infact own that jet engine, yes. I did not buy a ps4 until the pro was released and got it within the week. It was a completely pointless thing to release, and what little it ended up doing did not justify its existence. Checkerboard 4k and slightly better fps is precisely the issue I had with it. The late gen obsession with 4K held it back from doing anything else that could've benefited games.

People wanna get hyped but it'll just be a repeat of the PS4 Pro. The PS4 Pro barely got any support, most games remain without a Pro patch and will never get one at this point. There is such a stigma with live service that even when a good studio is working on one people already have their minds set that it'll be bad. With that said, this might kill the studio and that's not good at all so I hope they make a good game.

PCs in general have a Windows problem. It's hilarious to me just how much smoother the experience has been on Decks desktop mode than my laptop. Windows seems to always have an update and then struggles to download and install every time. I'm about to make the switch to Linux all together.
How self sustained can DREAM be when it's basically stuck on PS4? I don't think it's even gotten a PS5 upgrade. Ending support for what is essentially a game making engine is basically death. SONY did DREAMS dirty.

Endless run/auto horse mount makes such a huge difference in open world games, Elden Ring does this and i appreciated a lot after playing BOTW. Also the frame skip for photo mode is brilliant. Stuff like automatic horse ride, much like getting into a taxi in GTA is also something I wish more games did. The less i have to press forward on a stick or push down on a button the better cause it's less wear and tear on controllers, like auto completing QTEs.

It's not fresh nor new, it's literally just squad death match from BF3, or Uncharted 3, or pretty much every other fps and tps of the last 15 years. With a "game show" aesthetic which has been done by quite a few BR games. Only thing it does right is destruction but it's so small scale that it , at least in the few matches I got into, gets completely ignored by players.
It must suck working as a dev in these companies where the people on top just sell themselves to the highest bidder. The uncertainty felt by all the devs bought by embracer must've been nerve wracking.
