Looks pretty damn good. I had pretty much given up on this franchise, just played the MW3 demo recently and the gameplay seemed stale, like nothing had changed or really been improved upon. I guess they really put in the extra effort this time though, so I will probably get it for the wii u. I only have a 720p TV so I really don't care that they didn't try for 1080p resolution, funny how much controversy that has caused lol.
100% of people that post studies about which demographics are virgins on gaming articles are virgins.
Personally I loved the enemies from Zelda 2. They need to bring back the Fokkas (bird knights) and Darknuts as well as the different colored forms.
Skyward sword was much more linear than previous Zelda games. It was still a great game and had an excellent control method but I was let down by the lack of exploration.
Why am I being accused of stating opinions as facts, I used the word likely. Don't get so uptight people this game will look great regardless. Im more excited about being able to use a variety of control methods. I actually enjoy FPS's with the wiimote maybe this will support motion+
It most likely still has higher resolution textures than other console versions.
This is great news :D Too bad my TV is only capable of 1366-768p which seems like a totally random resolution :P Want to play my wii wii in 1080p Damn It!
Looks good is this in 1080p?
Great article with great points that sums up many of the stupid complaints that fanboy haters constantly regurgitate on this site, explains why there stupid in a humorous and informative way.
So many of you fanboy nerds are hilarious, stating the same bull about how the Wii U is going to be severly underpowered. Obviously all three of the next gen consoles will be able to output true 1080p 60fps with all kinds of brilliant lighting effects and gazzilions of polygons and particles. So I'm certain it has come to a point were art direction and asthetics will be far more important than technical specs and graphics fidelity. Nintendo has always excelled at those first two not to me...

mdkgod43 = idiot fanboy loser ;)
Definitely the most well written article I have read about the Wii U. I agree fully with many of the points made especially the graphics debate. With the next gen systems all pushing 1080p 60fps it will be all about aesthetics over fidelity. (Artistic direction > Technical specs) Of course gameplay is always #1 and Nintendo is the best at both in my opinion.
I agree with benjamminkno about disagreeing with the article about motion control being in the dark ages, however the PS move is a horrendous example. (Are you being serious benjamminkno?) Wii motes are genius because they double as an old school controller for Nes, Sega, Atari etc. Also there are already millions of them in people's living rooms giving lots of people insentive to upgrade to the Wii U. (Nintendo is clever) I also believe Wii motion plus controllers have a lot of potential...
Sounds like some PS3 fanboy meth junkie wrote this in the parents basement.
Only 3DS news :p
3-4-5 your comment is borderline retarded ;P
People who can't see the awesome potential of the new controller and simply write it off as a gimmick are strait up not true gamers. Oh there's new interesting ways to play games because the controll methods are evolving and becoming more complex, oh that's for children and old folks not true hardcore gamers. Get over yourselfs idiot fanboys :p
Yabhero speaks the truth. You cant explain the facts any better than that :}
I think the way you interact and play the game is much more important than how you percieve it. Visuals are important for sure but gameplay is key. Its pretty safe to say the Wii U will be able to handle slightly more complex games with a marginal upgrade in graphics and Im satisfied with that. What I'm very stoked for is the new ways we will be able to control and play the games. If you fail to see the potential of the new gamepad your being narrow minded, too bad for you.
