Ahh didn't realize it was just released for Wii, that is stupid. Why not just scrap the Wii version altogether and release it only for Wii U? Strange business decisions.

When companies make greedy decisions like this they are shooting themselves in the foot. When the customers come 2nd they are basically promoting piracy losing customer support and money in the long run. No one should feel a shred of guilt for going the emulation route when companies make you pay and then limit your access to said merchandise.
All these delays lately make me have my doubts about the Wii U version coming anytime soon if ever :[
Also there are some additional effects like more detailed reflections in the water and more complex physics. You would think they could get additional power by not rendering the game a second time on the gamepad but maybe the hardware is setup a certain way so that doesn't affect the overall performance?

Digital Foundry and Eurogamer made it sound like they had the GPU specs nailed down 100% but they are infact making some assumptions and there are still some very big??? It's super lame when sites jump the gun like this just for hits on there site because they know the fanboys will eat it up.

Bicfitness the Gpu has been confirmed to be at worst 1.5X than that of PS360 and far more modern and efficient, how does that make it less powerful? Oh of course your using fanboy logic.

Digital Foundry and Eurogamer made it sound like they had the GPU specs nailed down 100% but they are infact making some assumptions and there are still some very big??? It's super lame when sites jump the gun like this just for hits on there site because they know the fanboys will eat it up.

I guarantee there will be a significant price drop (prob $100) the same week the Orbangos launch (prob late November) accompanied with must have Nintendo exclusives.
Why is there always these fanboy's still claiming the Wii U is weaker than a PS3? It's now a fact that at worst the Wii U's GPU is 1.5X more powerful than that of the 360s and guess what the 360s GPU has an edge over the PS3s - fact. Sure the Wii U may have a slightly worse Cpu but when you also consider it has double the Ram and is a far more efficient design the answer should become obvious, unless of course your a fanatical fanboy.
This is a frustrating argument that can obviously go both ways so in reality either awnser is infact correct, it all depends on what you personally consider Next Gen to be.
If you consider INNOVATION to be the definition of next gen then YES! Nintendo has created a new way for gamers to interact and control through use of the Gamepad.
However if you look at it from a TECHNOLOGY stand point then absolutely NO! The Wii U is basically on par with current console...
Maybe while sailing you could just swipe the screen to change the wind direction instead of stopping the action to compose music.

This is a great addition for family's and a good use of the gamepads unique features, really the first real step forward in augmented reality.
Maybe with the help of these new devs Retro will reinvest in an project of there's announced way back for the GameCube that never saw the light of day... Raven Blade

All I can say is that it's nice having the option of varied control methods as long as they are well implemented.
When will Wii U owners in North America get the Trine 2 update? It was announced in early December, I guess February :[
It's awesome when devs put in the time and actually take advantage off additional assets. Great job Criterion :)
