As much as "More RAM means better looking games" argument may be true, It doesn't mean that companies have the budget to put towards artists to put that much assets into a game.
5 GB dedicated to games is plenty enough and most games probably wont come close to that (just based on budget limits).
Having a smooth interface is just as important as playing that games itself. Everyone has to go through the menus at some point and these features are...
There will always be people that don't understand something completely.
The cloud can help with the calculations of lighting and fog. Although it may not be much, it can definitely add to a game.
The cloud is very beneficial to developers. Whether it's for dedicated servers, or pushing off some calculations.
People shouldn't make it out to be the most amazing thing ever but it is a benefit that many developers will utilize.
I never said it didn't. I was just astounded to see the amount of people on here who believed it's the same feature of what your phone provides or a twitch app on the ouya.
I have broadcasted over twitch before on my PC and it seemed pretty nice. I never tried UStream. So I can speak on the quality. I do believe that twitch has the larger user base of the two.
Anyways. I think game broadcasting is a great thing for gamers.
Funny coming from someone being social through media.
It's amazing to see the amount of people that don't understand the difference between watching and broadcasting.
You can't trade games in steam. It's tied to your account. You can sell your account but you can't sell your contents of your account.
The family sharing definitely had its perks if you have close friends and family that are across the country. To simply allow them to play it without having to mail it to them was a great pro.
I dont believe you understand networking. SA's (system admin) use it all the time to see what people are doing on their network.
Its a software that you use on your computer that looks at the packets of data that are being sent across your router.
Like I said before, research just a little before you talk about a subject you understand nothing about
I can't believe you just wrote that. How is that disrespectful? Because you see it as a sin?
I'm sorry, but just because you see it as a sin, doesnt mean everyone else has to and watch their tongue around people who are easily offended. Especially when its not even about them.
Wireshark is not a hack. Its a software that sees what is being sent across the network. The xbox will never even see it.
Might want to do some research before you make retard statements. They can backfire on you quickly.
You can just use wire shark to sniff the packets that are being sent. Someone will do it day one and see if anything is being sent.
You most likely wont see anything. But it wont stop people from wearing their tinfoil hats
The whole reason for the online checks (once per 24 hours automatically at night) is for the family sharing. It allows you and ten family/friends to share your library. It needs the check to be able and keep this updated because due to licencing issues they cant have all ten people playing the same copy of the game.
I know it is cumbersome for some. But for a majority of people, this will not effect them. The Xbone will auto-update during the night. And then they can play off...
@Lucis_Lethality
I'm surprised no one has corrected you. Dev kits cost a lot of money and are very limited. Most dev teams rather have those dev kits back at the studio continuing to be used for development.
Therefor they use beefy machines to run a emulated xbox one.
It's actually not uncommon to have a very powerful PC emulating a console's environment.
That is probably what is happening here.
Sounds legit. Roll out the presses!
@windblowsagain "Where is PC going to surpass the new machines."
Have you looked at Oculus Rift? If not, I hightly suggest that you do.
The best part about playing on the PC is the modding community to make games look/play better and provide a new experience.
@Outside "working two jobs just so that you can barely manage to afford to upgrade your already out-of-date PC to match next gen console specs lol."
You either don't know what a well paying job is or dont understand how computer hardware works. My bet it's both.
Why should reviewers have to say what shocking scenes are in a game? Their job is to review. Not sit there and hold their readers' hands to make sure they dont get offended by something.
And if you are going to say that every FPS should only have shooting and violence and not at least try to explore difference emotional triggers, then you are a shallow gamer and exactly what the gaming industry doesn't need.
Actually, evolution is a proven theory. It is proven to have taken place and we can see this through countless fossils. It is as much a theory as the theory of gravity. And I doubt you would jump off a bridge to test that theory.
The problem with believing in religion is that they already claim to know all the answers and will not change their minds no matter how much evidence there is against it. Science changes its beliefs based off what is observed and tested.
Its a game that shows that you shouldn't just believe what you are told. To critical think. Christianity shuns critical thinking. Trust me. I was forced into church for many years and currently are watching younger siblings indoctrinating into a belief system that only teaches what they want to while threatening them with hell if they don't believe.
That may be true but Battlefield is a whole different game on the PC than it is on consoles.
