Since next generation is using x86 architecture, I would be surprised if there wasn't backwards compatability. Or the ability to re-download them to the new hardware.

I can almost bet that the Xbox One will launch before PS4. I have a feeling Xbox One will be Nov. 5th. Why? Because they aren't going to take a chance of missing the COD Ghosts release.
My reasoning for the PS4 being later is solely because of the Watch Dogs Launch day Bundle on Amazon. Watch Dogs isn't released until Nov 19 in NA. I would find it strange to have a Launch edition bundle with a game that doesnt come out until later.
