Finally!!! An article about EA Access that isn't spreading misinformation about the service. The last 2 EA Access articles Ive read here didn't know jack about EA Access.

@devwan

I hope that you are right about the leveling being sped up. Im aware of the ability unlocks, legendary, and light loot. It just doesn't make sense to me as to why Bungie would make the level cap attainable in such a short amount of time. I mean, why even have leveling in the game at all if its just there to keep you from getting certain items for a few hours?

I cant stand pewdeepie. Its admirable and all that he gives money to charity, and I commend him for that. But he is loud, and overreacts so much, I find him unbearable. He reminds me of the immature loud mouthed kids, in their early teens, of the Halo 2 days. No surprise that my 12 year old brother loves watching his videos.

I personally prefer Twitch over YT. Ive got people on my friends list that Ive met on Twitch. If Im looking for walkthroughs I go to YT.

@XBLSkull

Agreed, I really hope the leveling was accelerated in the beta. 4 story missions, and the Strike mission, and you were already at level 6. Add an hour or so in the explore mission, and you could hit level 8. That's almost halfway to the level cap on the first planet in the game. That's pretty weak for an rpg. I'll be let down if I hit the level cap in two days.

I don't mind the friend requirement for raids. But I have at least 40 people on my friends list, some of which I made during the beta.

My suggestion to people that think they will have trouble getting enough people for raids is simply network a little. I don't know about the ps4, but the X1 has enough social features that you can get to know people if you try a little. Or try joining a gaming forum, and just let other members know that you are looking for players. Or ...

That is a horrible price point. $30 for 30 days with a game? Just buy the game if you are going to pay that much.

My God, the gaming media is spreading misinformation regarding EA Access. Let me clear up some of the mess this article has made.

1. EA Access is NOT a streaming service. You download the games to your HDD.

2. ALL new EA titles are part of the Early Access feature.

3. All next-gen EA games will become part of the ...

Im interested in all those games except AC.

I might actually buy my first COD since the first MW. I like the actual next-gen graphics this COD has. Only thing I don't like is all the "futuristic" equipment, it just looks a little too "futuristic" to me.

Destiny is the game Im mostly hyped for. Enjoyed the beta. Ive been going through withdraw ever since. Luckily, I thought ahead enough to record about 3 hours worth of videos of everyth...

Your "philosophy" about EA Access hurting the gaming industry doesn't make much sense to me. If anything, EA Access is set up to increase EA game sales. You get Early Access to EA titles. That will give X1 owners first hand decision making knowledge about whether or not they want to buy a game. They will have no need to go by the opinions of different game reviewers, because they will have already played the game their selves. Add on the discounts, and an X1 owner has another re...

"If nobody subscribes, they can't make money on it, and it will stop existing as a service.

Do people really NOT comprehend this ?

I think this "service" only really serves EA."

Lets get real here. This service is a benefit for all parties involved.

MS will benefit from having it exclusively. When MS, and EA marketing start getting the word out about the amazing value of this service, there will be people tha...

I went ahead and bought a 1 year sub last night. $2.50 a month is a steal for what this service is going to become. Also found out that the price of my sub will never change, as long as I renew each year. So if they raise the price in the future, my price will stay the same.

This service is a great idea for everyone involved. MS has it exclusively, that will bring them X1 sales. Gamers get a 10% discount on digital games, and dlc. As well as early access to new EA titles. And...

This article claims to explain what EA Access offers, but makes assumptions about the service, and made no mention of the 10% discount on EA game, and dlc purchases that are included in your membership.

Truth is a some questions haven't yet been answered about the service. Like, will EA only offer 4 games a month, or do they intend on growing a large catalogue of games? Their description of The Vault is "it will be ever evolving". Hopefully, it means the latter....

@Muerte
Its $5 for a month, a second option is to pay $30 for a years subscription (that's $2.50 a month)

This story is clickbait. I cant understand how anyone could claim PS Now is a better value than EA Access. There is point that some people just look stupid.

For $30 a year($2.50 a month), or $5 a month, you can download and play any game in their Vault. You get 10% off any EA games you buy, as well as 10% off any EA dlc. You get access to play any new EA game 5 days before release.

Then there is PS Now

Killzone 3 $4.99 used at GameStop/4 hour...

Ryse looks incredible in all aspects, including the environments. You would know that if you had actually played through the game. smh

Funny Ryse plays smooth for me in the campaign and online. Ive never noticed a frame rate drop.

" and it doesn't help that it plays better than 98% of shooters"

I think that's a little bit of hyperbole. The gameplay isn't bad(in the PvE at least), but come on, 98% of shooters? I found the controls sluggish while running in both the PvE and PvP. Shooting enemies while jumping was almost impossible in both the PvE and PvP. You could not reload while running. Despite these minor issues, I really enjoyed the PvE. Loved opening up with my upgraded Shing...

I had a blast with the beta. I like the rpg aspects that I saw. Loved the Story, Strike, and Explore missions. Loved the PvE.

The only complaint I have with the beta is the Crucible. It is in unbalanced hell currently imo. The Supers are overpowered, and vehicles are overpowered. A lot of the weapons that are awesome in the PvE are almost worthless in the Crucible, because you die the instant you make contact with an opposing player. They need to up the survivability some imo...

Cool, cant wait.

I love the supers in the PvE, but I think they are over powered in the PvP beta. Someone shouldn't be able to kill an entire team taking an objective just by simultaneously pressing two buttons. Maybe let the supers almost kill an enemy player instead, so it would require two kinds of attacks to get an instant kill.

I don't think there is any denying that Destiny has taken inspiration from several different games, and genres. I just hope they can get the Crucible gameplay smoothed out, and balanced. That was the only aspect of Destiny I found to be weak, and its an equally important piece of the game imo.
