I could see where some of you could derive a conspiracy theory but it's about on ballpark with what the game is.
The prologue is what it says it is. $40 for the prologue seems a little steep in my book also but at the same time as the precursor to their review stated if you are a GT fan, then you know what you are paying for and getting. The review is for those non-GT fans or casual fans of the series that want to see what they are getting into.

Played a little bit here at work and it seems a little more button pressing and less time to think about the moves. Going to play it on normal until I get more comfortable with it then start it on hard so I have to strategize more because that is the fun of the games.
I prefer selecting menus with some time to think personally but I can't pass up a FF game and I won't miss out on this one.

To him it may have not lived up to the hype and it did have a rocky start, but the fact remains that the PSP is the only handheld I use the most out of all the ones we have in the house.
The game playing, movie watching, music listening, and remote play have made this a very intricate piece of hi-tech for me to own. PLus since I upgraded to the new version being able to play games and movies through my Home entertainment center has really added value to me.

this review, but as others. I am a Final Fantasy fan and I will get this regardless of view because one of the reasons I do play them besides the gameplay is because of the great movie storylines that the majority of them get.
I guess some people just don't like a good story with their game and that's alright to me as long as I get what I want out of the game.

The 60gig and 80gig are going to be harder to find at this time. AS I was origianlly looking at getting BC for my wife but she has my old PS2 down there already so I went with the 40gb but it's mainly for a cheap Blu-ray player and upconverting of her dvd collection.

The original 60gig SKU is the best with backwards compatibility for PS2 games. The second best would be the 80g SKU.
I just recently got the 40 gb SKU for BLu-ray watching down stairs and it definitely doesn't play PS2 games as I have tried :)
I do agree there is a limited number of Blu-rays that do have this full audio capability but it doesn't mean I still don't want the option of listening to it. I have the receiver with the full functionality to handle the sound because it is important to me to be able to hear it cause it adds that much more to my movie experience.
I wish more would offer the just the uncrompressed audio option but I'm sure it's that the majority of them are still only using the single layer blu-...
Is the fact that it doesn't produce True HD or Master Audio. I would definitely like to hear my movies in the best sound quality possible and have though about an independent player to get this Audio quality because that is just as important to me as the best picture quality possible.
Other than that the PS3 has made a great Blu-ray player and a great gaming console and media center for my game/man room :)

I haven't played a Baseball game since my Sega Game Gear. After playing the MLB 08 The Show demo, I havenow purchased my first MLB sports game since then.
After reading this review and the review for the The Show.. I am very pleased with my purchase. What's even more funny is I'm not that much of a baseball fan either.. I will see how I feel after a month about it though.
My choice 720p Plasma or $300 more for a LCD 1080p .. easy the LCD.. also as a gamer I have to consider images burning in. Plasmas are more prone to burn ins than LCDs are. Not to mention that LCDs are getting the color and contrast that plasmas have and some have surpassed.

This is definitely in the top 10 of my gaming lists of games to get this year.
You can't even look at the front and back of a game anyways as it is but adding a cover to a M or T game really going to help with anything in the long run.
The covers are not provocative last time I checked. Only the game is supposed to be. So what in the world does adding a cover over the box art do?

It's not a great game either.
The thing that frustrated me the most with it wasn't the controls. It was purely the fact that the cutscenes had no skip and when the cutscene was put in and you were about to destroy another dragon you lost track of the dragon you had been fighting.
The controls feel very natural to me and I don't have a problem with them.

Yes I own it and yes if you played Desktop Tower Defense you should have a grasp of the concept but it's different.

You know some of you are setting yourself up for disappointment. Naming games that I would like to hear more about but in all likelyhood it could be anything and will keep you coming back for more.
So what they did in affect is working.
I will be patient and not get my hopes up for anything speciifc, so no matter what they announce I will be less dissappointed if it isn't as interesting as they are making it out to be.

That this is about the Blu-ray "recorder" and not the PS3 or any other console? At least that is my reading comprehension of this news.
They are most likely talking about PC and Stand alone recorders just like hte DVD has out right now.
I definitely know when they get in an affordable price range I will get one for my PC because it would be nice for my ghost backups of my PC.
