This game will be a MMORPG which will only be online. No details if they will do the normal monthly charge from SOE but my suspicion is that there will be. Hopefully to my suprise this won't have a monthly fee.
I mean really when has any game from SE ever released to the states the same year it is supposed to release. localization alone will make it 6 months form Japan's official release or am I missing something that hasn't been historically proven to be true with the release of SE games?
I am looking forward to this game and hope the game dynamics are much improved to the slow 2 year slug fest to get a level 75 character that it took me in FFXI. Anyone that played FFXI knows what I'...
as it was one of my favorite 2 games on the Playstation and I can't wait to see the prequel to fill in the gaps :)
I'm sorry but I misunderstood your post in your sentence structure and it came out the other way. I personally like strategy and turned base JRPGs much better than Action JRPGs but if it's a RPG I will play it to see if I like it. Never know until you try.
Please disregard my previous disagreeing. :) I apologize.
apparently you haven't played Kingdom Hearts or you would of realized its an Action JRPG and not a Turned-based JRPG. So your assumption all JRPG based games are turned based is inaccurate.
Nothing against you not liking JRPG's just wanted to clear that up.
and still would re-buy them, but in this instance it would be to have on my PSP.
Vandal Hearts I and II were great and still are great. The story on Vandal Hearts and the music was excellent. I heard they were making a 3rd one for the Xbox Arcade and PSN to download. It's supposed to be a prequel to Vandal Hearts I and the hints of who's story. I can't wait. Fake geysers of over the top blood here I come :)
but I'm one of those 100k people. I own the original with everything it originally came with and it was a day one buy on my Playstation console. The discs still work but I got lazy on switching discs. So I basically spent $10 to not switch disc and have been playing it since I downloaded it. Still a fun game and one of the top of my list. I have some other FF games even with it but that is a matter of opinion.
To the article .. I really hope Turn 10 is just excited that their product is getting close to done. I'm sure it will be a fun racer but definitive, not so much. This generation isn't over unless there is a new generation of Consoles coming out next year that I don't know about.
To the comments (specifically about the amount of cars).. I personally want as many as they can put in. As a fan of racing multiple cars when growing up it's nice to get in some of the cars I used to d...
This game finally made some progress I saw the preview from the last E3 and was wondering if it was still being worked on. I'm definitely interested in this game and hope it lives up to expectations.
I'm not comparing NFS to GT and never would just saying as a track based racing style I will stick with GT5 is all, I understand NFS as an arcade racer and have mulitple versions but since Pro Street they have fallen off the ability to give me a fun arcade racer which Most Wanted was to me one of there best to give me a challenge and have fun at the same time.
I will stick with GT5: Prologue and wait til GT5. If and when NFS gets back to the most wanted formula and truly fleshes it out I will pick up another NFS at that time.
I have a platinum trophy from Godfather II and it's only because what was left to get was fun to get to me. Since I only needed 3 more trophies to get platinum I though what the heck I will get it. Which made the game a bit more fun for me.. most of it was way too easy to get.
Majority of the games i either get a trophy while playing or I don't. If I go back to the game I will use the trophies as an extra incentive to do something different than I would normally.
Still have both of them and they are still a blast to play. I hope this gives a better background to Ash's father and the rest of the earlier plots that were talked about in Vandal Hearts I.
I look forward to this game and will be a first day purchase for me regardless of reviews as long as the story is told like it was in Vandal Hearts I and II :)
I do remember the option to reconfigure the button options but I don't think it was that in depth. I've personally got used to the x, I want to reprogram the r2 and l2 for my bumps on the table instead of the left stick but I'm getting ued to that also.. Still got a ways to go before I even crack the top 1000 it's been forever since I played pinball at the arcades and bowling alley but I always enjoyed a good game of it.
This is the closest thing to the releastic movements of ...
Haven't used that since the SNES and Genesis.. thanks for the good Laugh.
On a serious note I'm glad he found the game fun enough to play til he got the Platinum trophy.
Not disagreeing with anyone about his grammar. As it is quite atrocious, but I will give the boy some credit on the feelings put into his articles. I personally read multiple reviews and get my friends opinions of the games before I get them.
I personally liked the first Godfather and found the controls to be unique. Not to mention it helps I'm a Godfather fan I most likely will overlook the flaws myself, but I would like to know up front what they are. Listing flaws in a game ...
NEC did really well with the card slot/cd-rom addon for the Turbo grafx. I still play Keith's courage, Double dungeons, Bonk's adventures, R-type, and Gauntlet on it once and awhile.
On topic: Thanks for the Foolistic April article.
the service for Sega genesis that allowed you to play games from on line through a "on demand service back in the mid 90's?
This seems like Sega TV service all over again. It was pretty neat to be able to play any game that you didn't own.
I know the conceptual concept of what they are talking is the same difference to me but I don't really know if I'm all for it. You won't truly own it and it would be more of a long time rental then owning. When the service...
good review for a PS2 game and yes it is the better version of the consoles, but it's still a PS2 review
I have not heard about this new system, that is very interesting news. You wouldn't happen to have the link to that information that I had missed about this game. I remember the E3 press conference and they did say next year but I'm always skeptical but if so I will be happy because I am looking forward to this game.
Even though FFXI was a grind I did enjoy the game and had plenty of fun with it.
