As of right now, though, Uncharted 2 is the best looking game on any console. There's no doubt about that. Can't wait to see how console graphics will evolve over the rest of this gen, and eventually next gen. It's hard to picture 10 years from now when we'll be looking back on Uncharted 2 and saying that the graphics are outdated.
was when there needed to be. It wasn't overwhelming, nor was it lacking in QTE. Hell, it even replaced some QTE with aiming/gunfire, which worked out perfectly.
God of War and Heavy Rain (from what I've seen) do QTE perfectly. But games that throw in unnecessary QTE just don't work, and you can tell when they don't. QTE are supposed to make the whole experience more immersive with more interaction, it's not a let's-throw-it-in-there-just-b ecause thing. A lot of games get flack about that (like Ninja Blade).
And from my knowledge, Uncharted 2 barely had any QTE. The only ones that I can think of off the top of my head was when you fini...

My comment was for the people who HAVE finished it, so if people start complaining about how I ruined the ending, just remember that I warned you.
I finished Uncharted 2 with some buddies over, and it made it that much better.

While playing the last boss level, we'd be laughing and yelling while I was getting chased by Lazarevic and barely making some leaps with grenades blowing up, me running out of ammo, and the blue amber pods exploding. And then when you're running across the bridge at the end, there'd be some close jumps that we thought were deaths! Very fun!
It's one thing to experience games...
Ratchet and Clank October 27, Modern Warfare 2 November 10, Assassin's Creed 2 AND God of War Collection November 17, and Demon's Souls sometime before the year ends while all this time I'm still addicted to Uncharted 2.

You and me both will be stuck in this upcoming chaos of games. Even if there's not too many RPG's that strike your interest, the next year will keep you busy with the other kind of games you like.
BTW, Mass Effect 2 and Fable 3 come out next year (or at least we know that ME2 will definitely be out in 2010). You said that you played ME1 and Fable 2, so IDK if you'd be interested in those kinds of RPG's. Just a thought.

or IW (or at least Jason West) are douchebags. WaW was a GREAT COD title that, even though is ANOTHER WW2 shooter, did a great job of bringing a gritty, dark campaign with the usual amazing online. No reason to hate it at all.
It's an FPS/RPG coming out in a week or so. It has thousands of guns, different classes, and a level-up system where you can upgrade your character. AND it has MP and 4P online/local co-op, so you have plenty of options for playing with friends. I'm not sure how much time it demands, but I thought about it when I read your comment. If you haven't heard about it yet, check it out! You may like it.
It didn't meet it's expectations at all, nor was it that deep. Mass Effect was my personal favorite so far, but I have yet to pick up Demon's Souls. Besides Fable 2's spot, great list!
what IS your GOTY then? There must have been a pretty damn good game to be better than one of your favorite games of all time.

for putting Assassin's Creed on the list! Even if a lot of people didn't like it (me not being one of them), the detail on some of the stuff, like buildings, was awesome.
And I agree with everyone else, too. Dead Space NEEDS to be somewhere on the list. The graphics on that game are even better looking than some exclusive titles!
