I hope the author realizes that the controls can be changed. As for the weight of the guns, they madethe blind fire pretty accurate so you don't awlays have to aim in

Dead Space has raised the bar, accept it. Now "standing in place shooting" is a gimick and people want something new and innovative.
On a Capcom post on the PS Blog they said strafing is available as an alternate control type, type D.
How about the make a working system first. I don't think this would go so well as they still haven't fixed the RRoD problem and the 360 gives off heat like crazy...
It was proven earlier that the teamwork ad was fake and would not be aired. Also, as others have said, I don't think it would have been wise to blow that much on one ad that most people might have ignored as it has nothing to do with beer, women, or cars. It'd be a lot better if they spread their money evenly so that it was all around and you couldn't go a few feet without hearing about it.
One things for sure though, they definitely need to start advertising now
I think the greatest thing in the entire thing is that it has a custom avatar. It would be great if Sony would allow people to do that.

This is pretty pathetic consdering other games like Killzone 2, Resistance 2, LittleBigPlanet, Uncharted, Dead Space, Far Cry 2, Fallout 3, etc. have little or no installs when each has a much larger scale.

Yeah, but as Premonition said, 3G speeds differ and they acknowledge that. As for the casing I think that's a bunch of bull. If they had just kept a case on it or something it would've been fine.
I mean really, how can you nitpick about something like that when it's still really fast? I have the old iPhone (yes, I pay my bill) and it's still pretty fast, so I'd imagine anyone who has any form of 3G and is complaining is a spoiled brat.
This is really stupid....if it was that much of a problem they should have stuck with the original. Also nothing is perfect.

As a few poeple have said, there is a public demo. Heck, if you want to you can just pre-order online and then once you get your code you can cancel it and go order somewhere else
Also the demo will have single player and 3 multiplayer maps
I really wish Bungie woul dmake an ORIGINAL map already. I'm sick of all this similar geometry and environments crud. People complain about CoD4 but at least there are a lot of them and they aren't mostly ripoffs of a previous game. Plus they're all pretty different
I'm from Austin, TX as well (who knew so many people here were). This is freaking hilarious. Also of all the counties in TX, Austin is not only one of the best, but also the only lieberal county in the sea of red that is Texas.
It's amazing how many people have bad stereotypes of Texas. Granted I'm not a huge fan of all of Texas, but the select spots such as Austin are amazing.
Wow, it was probably extremely awkward for everyone else there, especially the parents. Apparently they have a relationship outside of Halo, so their wedding and all that was probably fine, but it just seemed really awkward... : /

Definitely agree with this. I mean all the others on the list are cool just for general things (sound, laser, recoil) but the RFoM sniper is a real treat to use in fights and can be used even in close combat or far away using it's adjustable zoom. I think the other big part of it is that it's only available in single player (or at least the slow time function) so it makes you crave it more
